Dahab is IN THE KNOW! It’s very rare that you find a Stylist (and that’s what she is all the way around) that truly is knowledgable about the science and technology of hair and skin. She has studied and when you sit in her chair you are not only a client you are an individual with very specific needs that she so diligently attends to! You are in charge and she is there to help you reach your hair goals with honesty and precision. Dahab is also VERY transparent about her pricing. She will talk you through every step and work within YOUR budget not hers. Oh, did I mention her BROW technique? I have been to EVERYONE and ANYONE and she WINS!!! My brows have never looked runway ready, until now. So, if you are shopping for that «one of a kind» Stylist and are bored or anxious about seeing someone new, DON’T BE. Go see her, consult with her and let her work her magic on you.

Each time I have been to Golden Beauty I received an excellent color and hair cut. The owner is an excellent hair stylist who tries very hard to please her clients. She is very pleasant and helpful. I feel it is hard to find a hair stylist like her that you can trust to cut fine hair in stylish styles. She really knows how to cut hair!

I went to Dahab on a whim and was only hesitant because there weren’t many reviews. It turns out she is a new business owner and had only been in Melrose for about 5 months! Which means we need to help her become better known!
My experience was wonderful. She was more knowledgeable and talented than any stylist I have been to before. She made sure to take the time to really understand what I was looking for in a haircut. Then she explained what her approach would be to make sure I was comfortable with it. Watching her work was like watching an artist perfect a painting. She was quick but precise and did stop until she got my hair to exactly what she envisioned. Her imagination was much more impressive than anything I could have thought up! I loved my new hair cut and cannot wait to return in a couple of months.
I would recommend Dahab for anyone, with any hair type, male or female. She will take the time to learn who you are and will have you leaving her salon more confident and beautiful than when you entered!

Dahab is an exceptional hair stylist. She takes her time when she cuts your hair and has excellent precision and skill. I appreciate how she consulted with me for 5 minutes about the exact hair style that I wanted before cutting my hair. She also checked in on me regularly while she was cutting my hair to make sure that the length and style were exactly what I wanted. She really listens to her clients. In my opinion, Dahab is hands down the best hair stylist in Melrose. Golden Beauty Salon is a high end Newbury Street worthy salon right here in Melrose. Dahab is a hair whisperer. Yes, you can trust her with your hair.

I really am excited to have a person as talented and kind as Dahab in our community doing what she loves! I had a great experience and came out feeling like she really heard me (length, style etc) but also made some great recommendations.
We met in the middle– I left feeling like I looked like me only with a fun, elegant lift. I’ve tried highlights on a few occasions and never felt like it looked nice. I’m happy I tried again and Dahab chose a color that I truly love.
I wanted to try again (after a long time of spending my hair salon dollars in Boston), to spend them locally, here in Melrose. I’m happy I did.
