Forget being good for Melbourne FL, this place would be good for Acadiana LA. Fresh baguette, fresh produce, fresh shrimp. 4.9÷5. I’ll leave the 0.1 for next crawfish season and see what they’ll be able to do with a boil.

Exceptional. The shrimp and grits were out of this world as was the blackened shrimp po boy. Easily one of the the best Cajun restaurants anywhere!

Super friendly owner lady. Yummy food w/good portion sizes. We had the pulled chicken po boy, pork loin po boy, and grilled fish po boy. Inside and outside seating. Go w/outside on a beautiful day. Enjoy…

Being from Née Orleans which is the home of poboy sandwiches I was hopefully optimistic about this place. My hope was fulfilled. The sandwiches were great. I had the grilled shrimp with remolaude(spelling my be off) with a side of corn nuggets. The shrimp were perfect and in abundance. The corn nuggets were like mini beignets. The restaurant looks like it used to be a house which adds to the please T atmosphere. There is also lots of outside seating which was appreciated on the beautifully breezy day.

Great food, adorable setting. I loved the white BBQ sauce. My son loved the oyster PO’ boy-wasn’t heavy or greasy.

Everything is delicious at Tabones. My personal favorite is the fish po boy, always cooked to perfection. Bread is always fresh and the creole sauce is on point

It’s small, so don’t plan big parties, but expect some of the tastiest food ever! I ordered the pork loin Po’ Boy with a side of corn nuggets. The sandwich was huge, loaded with meat and veggies. The best part aside from the sweet, juicy meat would be the toasted bun. Sometimes its the bread that makes the sandwich. In this case, it’s true! The sweet corn nuggets reminded me of funnel cakes but were extremely tasty. The meat is cooked fresh daily. The bread soft with a slight toasted crunch. I highly recommend trying this place out. It’s west of the Downtown Shoppes. Perfect to eat then walk that heavy food off and shop!

This place was somewhat off the beaten path(off down the end of the mainstreet Melbourne corridor) but the sandwich was legit. Got the Grilled Shrimp Po Boy, delicious! Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere made the trip worthwhile My only suggestion to the management would be to expand the menu a tad, would love some additional Cajun/Creole options if possible :)

Hands down best sandwich in Florida! I’m very picky when it comes to Po-boy’s having grown up in New Olreans and can honestly say Tabone’s knocks it out of the park! Fresh ingredients and good bread make a huge difference and the Redfish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. While the bread isn’t traditional New Olreans French Bread, it’s outstanding(and less messy). Our food was so picturesque, we actually took a picture before eating! The po-boy’s were LOADED with fish/seafood. The only constructive feedback I can offer is that the remoulade was a bit salty, though the flavor very tasty. The addition of some less traditional beverage choices was a nice touch, too. Melbourne is not known for great food, but Tabone’s just may change that! It is now on my family’s regular rotation. The owners and staff seem to take great pride in the quality of the food and service.

WoW! I am from New Orleans and these are the best PoBoys I have EVER had. The bread is just awesome; they told us that they had it made in Tampa and drive it over every day. Oyster PoBoy was wonderful, packed with very fresh oysters and dressed perfectly with lettuce, a tomato that tasted like it came out of the garden a minute ago, and nice crisp pickles. Only«wish» is that they’d put a fried shrimp PoBoy on the menu too. Wife had grilled redfish PoBoy that she loved almost better than me :)
