This store has quite a good selection. I have frequented many health food stores in my day, and I saw a ton of stuff in there that I’ve never even seen before. My only beef with the place is the ridiculous prices. Quest Bars for example, were $ 3.39 there. Seriously? They retail for $ 2.99, but most places sell them for $ 2.50 or so. How do you get away with charging 40 cents above retail? I feel like most of the items in the store were like this. Good store but bad prices.

Really nice place! Too bad the guy was super rude. I just felt like I was inconvenient it him by ordering my wrap. They need to work on their costumer service skills

Second time I’ve been before lunch hour and it took 20min to get my basic chicken wrap. There was only 1 other person before me. Apparently the guy forgot about mine. This has happened before as well which does not make any sense. Disorganized and the workers there are very unpleasant. The store itself has a great selection but horribly over priced. Basic Silk Soy Milk is $ 2 more than Publix… They make a mean chicken wrap though… Yum.

When I first moved to Melbourne I was really disappointed with Natures Markets selection because in Ft Myers, FL I was spoiled with a locally owned and operated Natural store named Ada’s that was absolutely beautiful and huge! I have since learned that Ada’s is a rare treasure. Natures Market is to my knowledge one of the only organic/natural grocery type store in Melbourne. I enjoy the café from time to time and I do some grocery shopping there as well. This place is not child friendly, as a previous reviewer stated. I have experienced that first hand. I am not sure who the owner is vs who a member of staff is but an older women approached me about my son using an indoor voice on one of my trips. I just told her that he was using his indoor voice and excused myself. The store itself from the outside looks a lot smaller then it is on the inside but with only about ten grocery isles its still a smaller health food store. The good news is that their shelves are usually stocked and items are easy to find. They carry the more popular brands and the store has introduced me to some brands as well. The café is really amazing. They make some great sandwiches and there hot bar is impressive sometimes. I know that a lot of people really enjoy their salad bar. I have not yet had that but I am looking forward to trying it. There prices are reasonable in regards to the café(the same cant be said for the grocery side) The staff is hit or miss. I have had some good experiences and I have had some bad. I keep going back because I feel like there is no other option in Melbourne(if there is, please someone let me know). I don’t recommend buying from there cleaning/laundry/cosmetic area thought the staff is very helpful in that section, because they are seriously over priced for items that are easily found at publix on 41 for almost four to five dollars cheaper.

Today is July 21, 2010. I went to the Natures Market and will never return again! I had my three year old son with me in the cart. He is a normal 3 year old that will yell out from time to time in stores. He was saying stuff like, «Look Iron Man!» Betty the manager approached me and said, «Does your son have a problem». This was said with no smiles, and very blunt. I said, «Excuse me?» She said,” He’s bothering other customers.” I looked around and saw only one customer and two getting salads in the salad bar area. I said, «Is he bothering other customers or you?» She said, «Oh he’s bothering me!» I got very upset and said, «Then you know what, you can put back all this entire cart of food.»
