I am surprised at the previous review because I have been going here for the past year and I love this place. great staff, great quality, and the same day service they offer makes it so convenient! My clothes always come back pristine and I have never had a problem with my dry cleaning or laundry. I have also gotten a pair of pants hemmed, and heels repaired on my shoes on a couple of occasions and although the turn around time was a little lengthy, everything was done to my liking. If you want the whole package, go here!

Finding this business on Unilocal as well, this was my first time there. I was having suit pants hemmed and suit jacket sleeves shortened. We looked at the sleeves and decided on a fitting. I was quoted about five days but the date on the ticket was nine days, thats fine. They require payment before the work is done which I don’t like doing but they have a sign in front that says it is for them to maintain their low prices, so I paid. A couple days later I get a call that my order is ready, «wow, that was fast», I thought. Upon arrival I find out they only completed my pants and thought that was my whole order, after I said I had a jacket, the women helping me seemed surprised. I was told I will get a call when it is ready because it definitely was not done or even there that day. Fast forward a week later without one phone call, I called up and inquired about my jacket. I was told they did not know when it would be ready and I would receive a call back THATDAY. I did not receive a call back that day, the next day, or the day after. This would bring the weekend and I would have to call back the next week. I call back the next week and was told the current status of my jacket was still unknown and I would receive a call back. I again did not hear from anyone ATALL. I was having to keep my own tabs on my jacket as more days passed. At this point, I just wanted it back. I called and asked if I could just pick it up and I was given a reason that my jacket was at a different location and that the person who works at that location was not there or reachable, so my jacket was basically frozen in a state of limbo and no resolution was offered to me. More time passes. Only the second phone call I receive from them I was at work, and was left a voicemail that my jacket was in and would be ready to pick up the next day, which was a Friday, and that I would get a call when it was ready to be picked up. Go figure no phone call. I finally received my jacket the next Monday. Total time of work for my jacket alteration was March 9th — April 6th.(I do have documentation for all of this) The measurement we decided on when I dropped it off was indeed not the work done, so now I STILL have to get my jacket altered. The kicker is, after dropping my jacket off to be fixed at a completely different tailor, the price was exactly the same as Imperial’s and guess what, no payment required upfront.
Let it be said, I might not even be writing this review if ANY of the employees had showed ANECHO, ANIOTA, A RESEMBLANCE of anything that looked or sounded or smelled like an apology, or even a «thanks for dealing with an unforeseen event», etc. ANYTHING! But nothing. I picked up my jacket as if this was normal everyday business for them. So, If you want to wait a month to have work«finished», be kept in the dark and receive absolutely NO updates, and pay ahead only to have the work done incorrectly just so you can take it elsewhere, then go to Imperial.
