Holiday Inn Express Melbourne

Very pleasant hotel experience for once! Our room was quiet, clean, and, and we were very surprised (and pleased) with the furnishings. The breakfast was great and everyone was so helpful! Definitely recommend this hotel!

I have to admit, for a hotel, I’m impressed.
The rooms are clean, neat and well appointed! Our room had a King sized bed, a 42″ flat screen tv, a fridge and microwave! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot! We came to town so that we could avoid the Holiday Mess on the roads and found ourselves a nice little tuck away just off the highway.
This morning, we had their breakfast and that too had me pleasantly surprised! Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy… not to mention hot off the roller pancakes, french toast and waffles. And you can’t forget their absolutely delicious cinnamon rolls!
Their staff has been exceedingly friendly too! From the desk clerk who checked me in, to the lady in the breakfast room to the lovely women who clean the rooms and you pass them in the hallways… Everyone has had a smile on their lips and has been nothing but warm and happy.
I like this place!

I really liked this particular HIE.
I stayed here for a week during on of my National Tours. I’ve been on many such tours throughout my younger years. So, suffice it to say, I know hotels, motels and the like.
The staff here were really nice. My room was nicely designed, clean (and kept that way by housekeeping throughout my visit), the bed was extremely comfortable, the pool area is quaint, and the location is nice; far enough away from, yet close enough to, the beach hubbub.
I don’t see why I’d be in Melbourne ever again. But, if I were to find myself there, I’d return to this HIE.
