Excellent restaurant! I was so surprised to see that it wasn’t more packed on the night before thanksgiving. I started out with spring rolls and hot Vietnamese coffee and was so pleased at the lightness of the spring rolls and the thickness of the coffee. I then ordered cuan chua(?) soup and was amazed at the flavors. I shared the panang curry beef with my sister(smart choice) and we still couldn’t finish it. Amazing taste, high quality meat, and beautiful presentation. My sister got the fresh salad with homemade ginger dressing and it was very large– could easily be shared. All in all I am upset I am just trying this joint for the first time! Definitely recommend

I love Asian Gourmet’s Phở Sate! I can’t find anything like it anywhere else between there and Kissimmee. A wonderful soup of spice and flavor topped with fresh herbs, mMmmm! The Spring Rolls here are also different as they contain pork and are paired with a house made sauce that is incredible! I miss working down the street from here and grabbing my favorite soup and spring rolls on a daily basis.

Best Vietnamese food in Florida! So fresh and tasty! My husband and I have eaten here for years and I always try Vietnamese food everywhere I go, but this is by far the best! Bun with pork in lemongrass sauce and Vietnamese salad as my favorites! My husband loves the green curry. Do yourself a favor and try this place! Awesome vegetarian options.

Food is authentic and excellent quality. Service is top notch. Highly recommend the Pad Thai or Curry. Not expensive at all. Great date night suggestion.

Ok food horrible service. The place looks dirty and new a renovation ASAP. The table cloths and plastic over it look 100 years old and they are filthy. It takes them 20 min to get your order and another 20 to get you the right order to your table. If you are going here for lunch it’s not worth the time unless you have an hour just to get food and drink refills.

Bummer. Ok, first want to say that we tried this place a few times and it was good and fresh, per my previous review. Although, this last visit, will literaly be our last visit:( We were the first customers when they opened, ordered Phở and summer rolls and right before we were served our food we saw something fall from the ceiling on the other end of the restaurant. I had my son go and see and it was a mouse that had fallen to the floor. needless to say we were all grossed out and couldn’t eat our meal. The worse part is that even after this the owner a little old Vietnamese woman(which i had actually spoken with and liked) still charged us for our entire meal. We will NOT ever return to this establishment and we are super bumbed!

Still looking for a place to get great Phở in the Melbourne/Cocoa Beach area. Asian Gourmet’s phở was decent but a little bland for my taste. The broth just didn’t have that deep rich taste that I am used to and crave. Additionally they don’t have soup spoons(Asian or American style). My only choices were a table spoon or a serving spoon!!! Skip the Saigon roll. Just wasn’t that good. Service was severely lacking. Two other tables were occupied during the time I was there and one server was working. She was not attentive at all. I had to constantly track her down for additional beverages, extra lime wedges or anything else I wanted. Prices are decent. Soda is canned so no free refills.

It’s like if your vietnamese grandmother opined a restaurant. The food is incredible! That said if you’re asian comfort zone stops at pad Thai you might be in for a surprise. The only reason for the 4 stars is the spear tic hours in the evening. I feel like when the owners are around the service better(very nice older couple by the way) I’ve been turned away from here 45 min before closing time. Also if they are busy don’t be in a hurry. Worth the wait though.

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese. Great stop for vegetarians and even vegans. Went with my family. Both my wif and I ordered noodle tofu dishes and loved them. The spring rolls were delicious.

I came here for lunch one day after hearing so much hype from friends and on Unilocal.Everyone in town says their food is the best. After sampling a few dishes I am not impressed at all. Yes the ingredients are fresh but the dishes are just lacking in taste. I love Thia and Vietnamese food but here they miss the mark.

Delicious. Phở Sate was out of control with seafood and beef. Crispy noodles and pork & rice with salad was awesome. For desert the red bean, coconut milk, and palm fruit. A first for me and I’ll be back.

This was my first venture into Vietnamese food, so I had no reference points. My neighbor is from Vietnam and he brought me and my wife for a dinner and all I can say is WOW! Green mango salad, sweet and sour soup and the shrimp fried rice were full of favors I have never experienced together. So delicious! All I can say is the food is great and the price is right. I would highly recommend this place for something different and wonderful.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant twice after working in Melbourne. I found it doing some electrical work at the Pep Boys across the street. I was only expecting a quick bite, but I got a pleasant surprise! Probably what you will notice first about Asian Gourmet is the simple, homely atmosphere. The joint doesn’t look like much from just sitting down and ordering. Cheap tables, plastic table cloths, it’s nothing special. The décor hasn’t changed recently and probably never will. Usually when it comes to restaurants this kind of atmosphere means bad food or great food. Fortunately, the latter is true. Out of both of my lunches at Asian Gourmet I’ve noticed an older Asian woman who works there walking around, sitting down at tables with familiar customers. Assuming this is the owner, I find it fan-fucking-tastic and I wish more bigger restaurants had staff who were truly vested in knowing their customers and add a personal touch. The Asian granny is great, but the male Asian waiter working today was extremely awkward and unsettling. Throughout my lunch he would lean up against the counters and stare out onto the restaurant, instead of moving around or at least getting out of my eyesight. Personally, the thought of being watched while I eat is immensely irritable. Just go do something! Don’t stare at me while I eat! With that being said, let me address the food. I’ve only eaten Phở at Asian Gourmet, but personally I find it some of the best on the east coast of Florida. Perfect portions not too over sized come with an absolutely delicious broth as well as plenty of hoisin, sriracha, and chili oil to compliment. The beef in my Phở was of good quality and not dry, which is sometimes hard to find. Unfortunately my starter salad came out with my Phở, and the Peanut dressing that accompanied it was most definitely Jif’s creamy peanut butter with a couple other added spices. I did not find it delectable in any sense of the word. Easily said, I will be revisiting Asian Gourmet when I make my way back up to Melbourne for work, sans the Jif peanut butter salad. Maybe the Asian grandma will come say hello next time…

Place tries too hard to be weird and their Thai /Vietnamese fusion experiments fail hard. The only upside is that the food is all fresh — but I can throw some fresh produce together with no talent and scope at home too. The main problem is that they charge as if they are a nice bistro with a creative chef. They are none of those things.

This place is a staple in our restaurant outings in Melbourne. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. I crave their crispy noodle all the time. I don’t usually order thai dishes here but have taken people who have. The thai isn’t bad but i always stick with the vietnamese items. Coming from San Diego where there was a Vietnamese place every 20 feet near where I worked, I think their Phở is only average, but for the area its good and it hits the spot. It doesn’t really matter anyways to me since its mostly the experience of the place. I love to come here because the owner is so sweet and their service is great. I always feel happy and stuffed when we leave.

Asian Gourmet is the best place I have ever been to. Their food was very fresh. I went there a couple of months ago and it was amazing… its funny because we were just on our way home to veto and we decided to stop there. We thought it was closed but we went it and I’m glad we did. We will be going there again next month and I can’t wait!!! I’m glad they aren’t in vero because I don’t mind going the extra miles to eat there!

Had lunch on a Saturday, @ 1:00PM. We decided to judge this place on its own merit and not due to the incredible traffic flow of Harbor City, and the fact that this place was empty. My family is slightly familiar with Vietnamese food and Thai, for the last 22 years. The Vietnamese noodle bowl was good but at $ 8.95 for a few pcs of pork, noodles, mung beans and assorted items none of which were memorable or expensive, the price seemed totally out of line. My daughter had the Pad Thai, which was okay, void of spices, and could have been easily found in a boil and bag in the freezer section of Publix. Again at $ 8.95, this lunch was $ 32 for three people including tips and one non alcoholic drink. You be the judge?

Tried this place today with my friend and fellow Unilocaler Holly B. She has been here before and highly suggested it. It’s a cute little place right on the corner of US1 and Babcock St. When we walked in we were quickly greeted by the waitress. She was friendly and attentive. The place appeared clean and it was just enough room to spread out. The food was delicious! I ordered the rice platter– steamed rice with marinated pork and a salad. The portions were very generous. The food was fresh, tasty and the pork was tender. Holly was satisfied with her order of pad thai noodles. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back in the future. I only wish I had ordered the highly recommended spring rolls… but there’s always next time.

Tried out their lunch special. Selection of 3 dishes(prices from $ 7.95, $ 8.95 and $ 9.95) that range from vegetables, pork, chicken, tofu and seafood. They have 5 different seasonings that you can select and the food is prepared with one of those. I ordered the Yellow Curry Chicken and well… it was very boring. The sauce is very watery, not much flavor and i’ll soon forget that i ever tried that dish. The other dish we ordered was Pork Garlic Sauce… they might as well call it Sweet & Sour Pork… this wasnt Thai or Vietanamese but more like Chinese. You might have better luck for dinner but don’t bother ordering off their lunch menu. Try out the other items like Phở… a few people were having that.
