We love this little place. Friendly owner and staff always take the time to come over and chat. Food is what you’d expect all American breakfast served fast, quality ingredients, large portions you can never finish. The potato Hash is a must try hot off the grill with that caramelized crunch.

Atmosphere was nice, typical diner. Service was eh. A girl came to give us our silverware, we said hi and she didn’t even respond. Food was average. Eggs were flat, not fluffy, kind of runny. Pancakes were OK, average at best. Chocolate milk from a bottle, not homemade. Coffee not that great. Won’t be back.

Wide variety of breakfast plates to satisfy any appetite. They also do Belgian waffles on weekends. Good coffee and friendly service made for a nice breakfast.

I started going to gallantes out of convenience as I use to live right across the street but even after moving to Bellingham I continue to come here for a quality breakfast! I’ve never been dissatisfied when eating here. The pancakes are amazing especially banana chocolate chip! They serve home made corn beef hash instead of the canned stuff which is too die for! On the weekends they serve waffles with fresh strawberries not the frozen syrupy kind most places have. I’ve even come here for lunch a couple times and still been impressed I recommend the chicken parm the sauce is amazing!

Massive portions for low cost! We spent a morning in the area and were getting hungry. We saw that this place had great reviews and gave it a shot. We were not let down. The food arrived quickly and had huge portions. I recommend getting a grilled blueberry muffin on the side because it was delicious!

I grew up going to Galante’s for breakfast and it always has and will be a good solid place to go for breakfast in Medway. You can’t go wrong here they have good friendly fast service and all your breakfast favorites. Parking can be a challenge on the weekends but that is true anywhere serving a good meal at a great value. There is a good size dinning area so if there is a wait it is never to long. They will get you in and out and completely satisfied any day of the week. I can not speak for their lunch but Galante’s has the best breakfast in Medway.

Honestly, I’m like a human garbage disposal — I’ll eat anything. This place has a local loyalty program and that’s it. Terrible, horrible, gross. Stay home and heat up frozen pancakes.

We decided to try out Galante’s after driving by every weekend morning to see it jam packed. The reviews here on Unilocal supported our desire to try it out! The service was good and the pricing was fair. The food was kind of a disappointment considering how busy this place always seems. I got scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and homefries. The eggs were super dry and were not«scrambled»…it was just basically an omelette with no cheese and no seasoning. The potatoes were mushy – not crisp. My boyfriend got the Medway Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was under seasoned and runny. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, which was nice. Overall, I’d just rather make breakfast at home or travel a little further to get a great breakfast.

My family has been regulars here for years and I recently revisited last weekend. Solid breakfast café but it is often crowded and there aren’t too many tables — maybe 20– with seating at the breakfast bar as well. The prices are economical(e.g. $ 6.95 for an omelet) and the portion sizes are appropriate as well. I liked my omelet but would skip the side of ham next time. Friendly staff and service. Tiny lot, most have to street park in the residential neighborhood.

Probably one of the worst breakfast my wife and I have had in a long time. We chose Galante’s based off the Unilocal reviews. Unfortunately, they were so far off that we had to post our own. Let me start off by saying the service was great, but the food was horrible. My wife ordered blueberry pancakes and I ordered eggs over easy with home fries, toast and bacon. The blueberry pancakes had frozen blueberries in them. They had a very bland taste with the texture of cardboard. They didn’t even have real maple syrup. They gave us individual containers of syrup. The eggs were fine, but the home fries were a soggy potatoes with some paprika on them. The toast was stale and cold to the point the butter didn’t even melt on it. The bacon was also soggy and luke warm. The prices were good, but I wouldn’t mind spending a little more for better quality food. I still can’t believe how this place is rated so high. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped in for breakfast after seeing the ratings on Unilocal. It wasn’t horrible, but it certainly didn’t wow us. I had a spinach, feta omelet and it was made with frozen spinach — would’ve been nice with fresh spinach. The hash browns were also a bit greasy and the coffee was weak. We also noticed syrup came in individual containers, similar to what a fast-food breakfast would serve which we thought was strange. Also, the wait staff, while very friendly, seemed to ignore a dirty cup lying on the floor, and also did not thoroughly clean a table next to us, especially the chair that had remnants of pancakes from the child that had just left with his family. Unfortunately, the next guest sat in the dirty seat. Overall, a so-so experience. I guess you get what you pay for as it is rated with one dollar sign.

Wicked townie place, which is not a criticism at all. Nice that they exist. Why are good breakfast places so rare? This place is noisy — one loud person or kid and now we’re all talking loudly to be heard. But that’s fine too. Coffee is the good diner variety. Avoided the home fries, as advised and got hash brows, but they were kinda like my hash browns, with the slightly undercooked bit. Benedict was awesome, without the impenetrable crust of muffin that you have to fight with. Good muffins make good eggs benedict. Service was almost un-New England-y friendly, but I can adjust. Décor reminds me of an Elks lodge, but who cares?

Though I had to park down the street, it is usually a good sign that it’s busy! I wonder the issues on a weekend though, because this was a Friday? Coffee was promptly served. Décor(or lack of) was expected. Food came out fast and hot. My omelet was great and hash browns good. Side of raisin bread was correct. Portions were good but not surprising. I like the place and would go back again. Prices were reasonable too. Good casual breakfast place tucked away so mostly locals would find it(and you).

Cannot go wrong here at all! Yummy food every time I have gone for breakfast! I mostly go here on weekends and I highly suggest getting there early or going on their off time [after 9 or 10 am] because it is always so busy here! The food is hot and fresh. I highly recommend the omlette that has salsa, steak, and cheese in it. I think it may be called the western omlette but I am not sure. Very family friendly and family oriented but also good for couples too!

We enjoyed our first visit and I gave four stars. We went back on the advise of the waitress who told me «you’ve got to try the corned beef hash next time!» Nothing is better than good corned beef hash so I really looked forward to this. I knew I was in trouble when the waitress asked if I wanted home fries or hash browns. What? Hash has potatoes in it, right? Not this time. The corned beef«hash» was just thinly sliced corned beef, heated on the flat top, served with potatoes. The eggs over easy were cooked properly. Sorry, this was not corned beef hash. Sadly, the perfume of the waitress was overpowering the entire dining room.

Came to Galante’s late one Sunday morning after reading the great reviews here on Unilocal, and I’m so glad I did! The food was just wonderful, our waitress was very friendly and helpful, and the whole atmosphere of the place was just pleasant and great. There was a wait, yes, as with any great breakfast spot, but the wait was so worth it. I had a mushroom egg white omelet with hashbrowns and wheat toast, and even something as simple as the toast was delicious! The veggies in my omelet were pre-cooked so they weren’t raw inside the egg(you’d be surprised how many times that happens!), the cheese was flavorful, and everything was seasoned just right. Even for a «greasy spoon», I didn’t feel bloated or gross when I left, which is always a plus. Really good, honest food all around. I will definitely be back, and I can’t wait! As a note, as another reviewer said, they do take credit and debit cards, but for the price of the bill only, not tip. Make sure you bring cash to tip the friendly waitresses!

My boyfriend and I just moved to Millis and to our delight, we found this place just down the street. It’s an easy choice for breakfast(haven’t tried lunch). We’ve even opted to be late for work to get breakfast at Galante’s first. Leave your PJs on. Bacon is always super-crispy(YUM). I usually go with salty breakfast food. Boyfriend goes with sweet items. Both excellent. Wish they had local maple syrup instead of Smuckers packets, though. Staff is wicked nice. So nice one time my boyfriend turned to me and asked if our waitress was being sarcastic. No, she was just being REALLY nice. Cheap food. They take cards, but you can’t put the tip on the card. Gotta leave cash for tip. Parking is ok. Small lot on the side and free street parking on Village.
