Being a food critic, I’m going to give it to you straight. Don’t go here. It has been 2 times in a row and I have found a hair on my burger. My service has been nothing but under average, and this place was nothing but a waste of money. If I had a chance, I would give this no stars and try to close this place down.

Five stars for a dinner. Great menu and the service was great in a very clean atmosphere. The food was solid and as described. I had the«fat boy» burger. Very good!

The staff are rudies, the customers are rudies, and the food is insulting. Okay, I’m just kidding, they were fairly friendly, but my food did nothing for me, and honestly tasted like it was out of my freezer or something. I ordered one of my go-to dishes which was the chicken. We have a couple of decent ones over in Akron, NY, but this one did nothing for me. It wasn’t juicy, it wasn’t seasoned, the gravy was cold and the mash and salad were just… bad. Salad didn’t taste fresh at all which is a big no no. Sorry guys. It’s a family owned place so I’ll give it a 3 for moral support but I wouldn’t come back here, most likely. The prices weren’t dirt cheap either. For a little town like Medina, paying 10 or more for a meal at a little diner seems a little steep. Medina has three incredible places to eat, but my next experience here(if there is one) is going to have to be miles better than the first in order for me to raise the star rating and become a regular.

50’s style diner, I have loved this place since I was a teenager. Great diner food. Milkshakes and burgers a must. Good atmosphere a great service. Always have specials and will always satisfy. Great for stopping in on lunch and grabbing a fast bite at the counter. Normal Rockwell would have drawn this place if he could have found Medina. Check it out.

Last few times we have been the food had not been that great. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and the chicken was slimy. Not fresh cooked. Just iceberg lettuce, which was starting to turn brown. What upsets me about this is not just the cook that is putting this together but the waitress that sets it in front of you. My husbands patty melt type sandwich had all sorts of grease dripping off of it. Wait staff not as friendly as the usually are, running around like they ate extremely busy while others are just standing around. On a brighter note desserts are huge and pretty good. Big enough to share.

This place is pretty much out in the rural part of Western New York and is a cute place sitting in a cute Mayberry like town. In fact I thought I saw Floyd the Barber sipping coffee at the counter. The young server was just excellent and positive and the prices were amazing. The Driscoll burger was good but a bit on the well done side for me and the fries were very good. Overall, a good meal. Medina residents and visitors alike have a nice little gem to frequent.

Terrific diner in Medina. Sourdough melt with O-rings for 6.99. Excellent homemade soups. Fast, friendly service. Nice diner atmosphere, and great value.

When you think diners, you expect your locals in their spots, a quirky staff, home cooked food and at a price you can afford. Rudys has that down pat.

I love this place – Had a chance to go back and visit again recently. Went in for breakfast, had a delicious broccoli and cheese omelette. This place used to be a staple of my childhood. Many very good memories. Glad to see that some things don’t change, well… too much.

Outside looks like a 50’s Ice cream joint with cars parked all around it. No curb service though. Inside the theme is followed through with neon in the windows and photos on the walls. Busy in waves breakfast, lunch and early dinner. Service is above average with daily specials that cover a two column page of hand written entrees with a big variety. I’m a big eater. I had a huge Greek chicken over rice with pita bread($ 7) that I could hardly finish. Yes the do serve ice cream, but I was so full. Come hungry or your dog will be stuffed.

Although I have not eaten at Rudy’s, my sister, who recently purchased a vacation home in Medina, is an avid customer for breakfasts there. She says that Rudy’s is THE place locals gather to talk over news. Rudy’s serves home-style food at low prices. It is worth a try and I think the next time I am in Medina I will breakfast there.
