My husband and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to look into a Christmas gift for our son. We stopped in and Larry was very busy but still took the time work with each customer answering the many different questions. He was so knowledgeable and patient explaining the benefits and differences of each model. We didn’t plan on buying that day but because of the education we received, his honesty and competitive price we couldn’t leave without the perfect gift.

One of the last true «mom & pop» hobby shops — and the only one run by Ryan Lutz’s dad. The owner is very helpful and humble, and sold me some paint for an R/​C car body I was working on. I had a few questions about getting involved in radio control racing and after talking for a while, the owner showed me some of his famous son’s old racing cars! The selection wasn’t the best, but the store was clean and orderly and I could order whatever I needed if it wasn’t in stock. The prices were also very fair and competitive with online pricing. Support your local hobby shop!
