Just because you put tortillas, eggs, beans, cheese and salsa together doesn’t mean it’s juevos rancheros. Very disappointed bc I always expect better in Media. It was actually tasteless. They served home made salsa but I’m thinking that salsa was just onions, tomatoes some kind of pepper chopped up. Not returning

I always love going to koffee korner. They have great specials. Some of the best breakfast potatoes around. Great huevos rancheros. Great omelets. Awesome berry pancakes. Love that they offer real maple syrup so you don’t have to put high fructose corn syrup on your pancakes. Most items are organic and fresh. They get busy but its worth the wait and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Its always a great start to the day going to koffee korner. Great coffee especially the mochas.

Totally missed what everyone is raving about here. Food was fine although cold, service was not(never greeted, had to ask for someone to take our order, had to ask for refills of coffee/water, never checked on, the counter and floor were covered in previous diners’ food etc.). As someone who works in the industry, I’m very forgiving about service. When we asked for change for a twenty we were met with a great deal of attitude. Hey guy it’s not a $ 100 and I’d like to tip? In the future I’ll pay twice as much at house or bittersweet for good food and service.

Favorite breakfast spot in Media. Friendly service, great variety of daily specials. Coffee is always good, La Colombe! Servers are always engaging, even when busy. Open for dinner on certain days/nights, Mexican menu – also very good!

Amazing food and even more amazing coffee.(Get the California omelet; the pancakes are also just the right sweetness.)The people there are super friendly – shout out to the associate who put up with my extremely customized order!

These folks at Koffee Korner are working hard. We showed up at 735 am and they were prepping the home fries and jelly jars. Great little spot in Media… all the reviews are spot on. We had blueberry pancakes(jemimah mix… too bad, but turned out well), some really good pork sausage and their toasted cinnamon roll(Le Bus). Kick ass home fries too. The inside could use freshening up a bit, other than that… great food.

Went here with a friend for late lunch. All the staff was super friendly and the food was pretty good too! Home fries are delicious, veggie omelette was a bit cheesy for my taste, but still great. Also would recommend their bomb pancakes and coffee. I would honestly come back for the service though, everyone was so friendly and personable including the chef– which is amazing since they were incredibly busy with a full restaurant and a crowd of people waiting.

The one downside I can find about Koffee Korner is that it’s usually crowded partly due to it’s size. Other than that their food is outstanding. The chicken salad is one of my favorites to order, especially with extra onions added in it. It’s super fresh tasting, has unique ingredients that most other places are too afraid to add, and the chicken is cooked excellently. The staff is always on point with the orders and they do work as quickly as possible to get you your food. It’s a must try if you live in the area and hell even if you don’t make an adventure out of it!

Outstanding food, great service with a wonderfully funky vibe. Great La Colombe coffee, imaginative specials! And today, free spiked egg nog. What’s not to love?

Just went here for breakfast for the first time after reading the great reviews only to be terribly disappointed with the food. We ordered the eggs with home fries. When our food came out I thought the kitchen mistakenly substituted the home fries with bacon bits, but no… they were potatoes. I may not be a home fry expert but I’m pretty sure oil should not be seeping out with a gentle push of my fork. And while it’s rather difficult to mess up eggs, the whole meal was less than desirable. The only redeeming factor was the friendly and attentive service.

Unfamiliar with the area, I relied on Unilocal to find me a breakfast spot. Great food and a happy, friendly staff. Loved the Sinatra while I enjoyed my huevos rancheros.

This is definitely one of my favorite places for brunch. There are always daily specials. I usually end up ordering the special, and I have yet to be let down. The portions are quite generous. I usually will have to take the rest home. The place is small, but it’s very quaint. If you end up sitting at the bar area, the cooks/staff are very friendly and will chat with you while they’re cooking your food. Everything is made from scratch. Even their drink mixes! They literally chopped open a coconut to make us piña coladas. – It was kind of cool to watch. I believe on Sunday they have a drink of the day which is on the house. Bottom line, great brunch spot with excellent food and friendly service. Keep in mind, there might be a bit of a wait because it’s a small place.

Such a great breakfast spot! My boyfriend and I go here about once a month and are always super pleased. The staff is so friendly and fun and the food is really delicious. They always have some sort of amazing special of the day. I would recommend getting there early as it can get crowded, but it is totally worth it.

Mu husband and I tried the Koffee Korner based on recommendations on a Facebook page… so glad we did! We went early on a Sunday morning(about 8:30) and got seated right we were leaving about 9:00 it was getting busy. I ordered the build your own omelet and it was perfect. The home fries were SO good. Crispy and just the right amount of saltiness! I also ordered a side of the french toast… yum! Thick slice perfectly cooked! My husband ordered the huevos rancheros and said too much tomato but he doesn’t like tomato but said it was good. Decent portion too! He agreed the home fries were delicious. He also got a nice size portion of scrapple. The staff was really friendly and I loved listening to how to decide which music to play, they picked good songs in my opinion. We will definitely be going back!

Coffee is served in those perfect diner mugs! Great breakfast spot! Huevos Rancheros are excellent! It’s very small and crowded if you don’t beat the rush. Not great for groups, but perfect for 1 – 4 people. We have been 4 times for breakfast and liked everything we have ordered. The only thing they are missing is Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas!!! Also we ordered a bowl of fruit for a toddler but it was frozen fruit instead of fresh. Other than that we love the place !

Amaze breakfast. I’ll just say that if you do not sit at the counter and have the Huevos Rancheros, you are missing out. It was absolutely excellent. More than perfect. A completely unexpected find in «downtown» Media. Corn tortillas, excellent over easy fried eggs, tasty pico de gallo(not too spicy at all!) and some sliced avocados. And the home fries! Crispy deliciousness. All I had to do was a few splodges of Cholula to «kick it up a notch.»

I like this place for the unique breakfast menu. It’s not often you’ll find huevos rancheros in this area, let alone 4 different options for how you’d like it prepared! I went with the flank steak huevos rancheros(with a generous amount of sriracha, of course). I thought It was absolutely delicious except for the stale tortillas resting below my mountain of steak, beans and eggs. The home fries with onions were divine. Good coffee. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich which sadly had a hair draped across the top of it. The staff was very apologetic and took it off the bill before making another. She thoroughly enjoyed her(hairless) sandwich. The waitstaff is my main issue with Koffee Korner. While our server was friendly he was incredibly absent minded and just… absent. The restaurant isn’t big but we had a difficult time finding him and flagging him down, and after requesting things like refills he had to be reminded multiple times. We were annoyed to have to wait that long for a water refill. The interior is also pretty dilapidated. While it won’t stop me from coming here again — the food really is THAT good — it’s not the most charming spot for breakfast.
