We tried to call this place on 9÷26÷2015 at around noon. The woman who spoke with us was demanding, short, rude and just an awful person. The customer is never right at this u haul store!

I love the trucks and trailers we rent, and we always seem to come back. However, as I wait in line at 9am behind 10 other folks, I am reminded of their poor staffing decisions. On a Sunday morning there was one young girl running the whole show. She was awesome and doing her best, but seriously! Long wait times seem to be the norm. I’ve run this rodeo 9 times now and every time it’s an hour wait. So stop and get a coffee before you get in line and be patient. It’s not her fault.

Horrible service. Had to wait while the young female clerk walked around looking for something only to be told my vehicle that I reserved wasn’t at that location. Ended up going to Fast Lane Motors to pick up my uhaul.

One star only because zero is not an option. Rented a trailer to move our son to college. Needed to leave at 7. Had the trailer packed the night before, and noticed a tire was low so we pumped it up. At 6am it was low again. Pumped it up again. Low again by 7. Waited until they oped at 9 and were told sorry, the shop isn’t open on Sunday, go call Roadside Assistance. No apologies for the inconvenience. No offer to help get it right. AND, my son and dad had picked it up – they let them leave without the lights working! I called them on that and the first thing the guy said was«did you buy insurance?» Are you frigging kidding me!!! You let a defective price of equipment leave your facility – a cracked tire! — and your first question is did we buy insurance? No inquiry about our welfare or apology for the inconvenience. It put us hours behind schedule. We won’t be home until well after Midnight, and we both have to work tomorrow. I highly recommend you rent from someone Other Than these unprofessional bunch of rude people. We had to wait on the phone for another hour with U-Haul Roadside Assistance, then another 40 minutes for them to call us back, and then that guy wanted to «repair«it. How about CHANGETHETIRE??? It is a SAFETYISSUE!!! It was 1 pm before we finally got on the road, 5 before we got there, 8 before we got unloaded and turned around, and 2 before we got home. What a bunch of consummate professionals. Never. Again.

A rather disappointing end to what is already the most frustrating week of my life: I called this U-Haul to inquire about a truck. I specifically stated I would need a ¾ ton truck that was equipped to tow a 5000 pound travel trailer. No problem they said, they had one in stock. Great, my week from hell ends nicely, right? Made the reservation and went to pick up the truck. I rented the truck, only to find out it was an F-150, most likely a half ton, and had neither a 7 blade connector nor a brake controller, both very necessary to do the job I specifically stated the truck would be used for. I called back and was basically told«I don’t know what to tell you.» It was a great way to waste an hour and $ 40.

I would HIGHLY recommend this specific U-Haul location. I had a problem with my U-Box that originated from Austin, TX, where I was quoted a price for Brookings, OR, when it turns out they don’t deliver there. When my U-Box landed in Medford, it was the first I heard of this fact! This was a huge headache as I now had to get it to my location a couple hundred miles away at my own expense and trouble. This Medford location made it right at their own expense, when it was no fault of their own. They ultimately drove it to me themselves. They are honest and responsible. I wouldn‘t go anywhere else for moving needs in Medford. As to the U-Box, I would get in writing your quote as to what location they are delivering to. They told me in Austin, that they were aware of this«oversight» happening to at least one other customer, and had called it to the attention of management. They were still«working out some kinks» in this new program. That’s fine — but not appreciated at the customer’s expense. No help was offered from that end. They may have this worked out by now, but just take note and be sure for yourself. Otherwise, it’s a fairly good way to transport your stuff. But once again, I am highly impressed with this specific Medford U-Haul location!
