A First Choice Staffing Service

Their website says to email your resume so you can find out what jobs are available AND you would need to come in and interview. I sent off my resume several days ago and still haven’t heard from them!
There’s nothing wrong with my phone, I have a resume with plenty of experience in three different fields, and I even checked my email’s «spam» folder just to make sure… ya still wasn’t there.
Extremely unprofessional and would never recommend them to anyone!

All of the ladies in this office are so helpful and really know how to help. I would recommend them to anyone!

I had a great experience with A First Choice Staffing Service.
I contacted them regarding a job I saw advertised, I was given an appointment the following day at 11:00. I arrived at the office and yes there is paperwork to fill out just like with any other potential job. I was interviewed on the spot by one of the owners of the business. She spent a great amount of time with me, truly finding out just what I was looking for in a job. She showed great interest in me and what skills I had, what my weaknesses were and how much did I want to work (full time, part time, on call etc.) I left that office feeling great and confident that I would have a job by the end of the week. The following day I was called for a interview. The following day I was hired. So in less than 48 hours the staff at A First Choice Staffing had me placed in my DREAM job. I witnessed nothing but professionalism at First Choice Staffing, I was treated with respect and kindness. Thank You to all.

Terribly unprofessional.
Employee didn’t identify themselves to me when I entered and introduced myself.
Instead of discussing the job I was there to interview for, I was just handed a packet of paperwork and escorted to fill out forms in an (I’ll say it…) office that smelled of dog, and was left alone to fill out scads of forms.
I had questions about some of the documents they wanted me to sign, particularly the consent to a credit check (???) and consent to randomly drug test me at their discretion (???), but the woman there was loudly engaged in a telephone conversation about some «dumb» woman’s wedding and her «damn» flowers.
I couldn’t believe the language used in front of prospective employees.
I also cannot believe I was supposed to sign all sorts of consent agreements and contracts before even learning about the job, what it paid, and what sort of firm I’d be temping in.
A word of warning «A First Choice Staffing Services,» you shouldn’t be getting your prospective employees to waive their legal rights prior to telling them how much they’re going to be making per hour or what exactly they’ll be doing.
I left before signing anything. These people are unprofessional and I would not want them managing my career or financial affairs, nevermind conducting «background» checks, credit checks, and drug-​screening. They don’t appear to have any concern for confidentiality, either, what with the overly loud conversation about some unrelated lady’s wedding.
Getting back into my car, I could still smell the cheap perfume and animal odor that somehow managed to cling to me, so I drove home with the windows down.
There are plenty of other employment agencies in the Rogue Valley that value confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to their clients. I’ll wager that those other offices don’t smell of dog and cheap perfume, either.
