I recently had my 2011 Hyundai Tucson brakes checked at Tires Plus in California, MD, and they said the front and back brakes would cost $ 800 to repair. I knew the back brakes were worn so I went ahead and let them replace them for $ 400. I took the Tucson to Southern Tire in Mechanicsville, MD, and they checked the front brakes and saw they had 75% of the pad life still on and said they didn’t need to be replaced. Apparently Tires Plus wanted to make money off me for nothing. I am going to the honest company, Southern Tire, in the future.

Honest, fast service. I’ve been a loyal customer for ten years. Recently took my son’s car in thinking it needed new brakes as it was squealing like a pig. Nope, just needed to shoot some compressed air into the brakes to clean out the junk. Most other places would have said new pads and rotors.

Stopped by here today because I was hearing an awful noise in my front end. I went in and asked them to look at it fearing the worst(bearing, axle)? Thank goodness it was as simple as some loose lug nuts but they were very kind and didn’t take advantage of the situation. They fixed the problem, charged me nothing and thanked me for stopping in. I left the guys who took care of my car a tip to get lunch on me. Thanks guys, you were very professional.
