I have a whirlpool refrigerator only 14 months old and all the food in the refrigerator side was freezing, then the water dispenser stopped working and then the ice maker stopped working. I called Lipscombe Appl. to come out on a service call for $ 80.00. The technician pulled the ref out from the wall looked at the back and then pushed the ref back into place. He wrote on the invoice that I needed a new control panel because the ref was experiencing central issues and that it would cost me $ 500. A new ref cost $ 900 hello I’m not stupid. He told me I could come to their showroom and look at new ref well that just added salt to the wound. I mulled over the situation for a month and finally got a 2nd opinion. The technician from platinum appliance came out looked inside the ref and said it’s the diffuser it’s broken allowing all the cold air to run non stop into the fridge freezing the food and the water reservoir etc. the new diffuser part was $ 70.00 needless to say I called Lipscombe and they refused to refund the $ 80 for their wrong diagnosis which I think is really bad business. My opinion. Talking about taking advantage of women. Some businesses pray on people hoping they are stupid. Well this economy is to tough and I don’t have time for stupid. I’m disputing the charges. I will keep the review posted on the outcome. Thanks for allowing me to post this review. I hope it saves someone else the trouble. Don’t call Lipscombe

Lipscombe Service sent a service person out to repair my 2009GE Profile refrigerator. While the repair person was very nice, he had no idea how to repair my refrigerator and left without resolving anything.
