When our insurance changed recently, we had to switch pharmacies. Rite Aid was close so I chose them. Huge mistake. Before the switch, I went in and asked the pharmacy staff how best to transfer our Rxs, and brought the empty bottles in as instructed by the Rite Aid staff. They assured me they would handle the transfer from there. Two weeks later, we still only have one of those prescriptions filled. Unacceptable. I have been in or called nearly every day since, and still we have only one refilled. One time I called in and they told me the second prescription was finally ready to be picked up and the man apologized for it taking so long. No… after I drove all the way down there they had no idea what I was talking about. The staff has been rude, argumentative, dismissive, slow and today the pharmacist hung up on me. They will not be getting my business ever again.
