Just had the brussels sprouts and sweet potato along with the chicken salad with apple and pecan which I got from them at the Falls Church Farmers Market, delicious! Now a fan and will head to the shop for sure!

Smells fabulous when you walk in the door. Someone greeted me and explained what’s new and different from the other health food store that was in this location, and their choice to provide a selection of locally produced items. I appreciate the friendly customer service and thoughtful design and selection.

I am obsessed! LoKl Gourmet is amazing! I wasn’t even hungry when I got here but ended up trying the chicken salad (the best), grapefruit kombucha tea on tap, cranberry baked oatmeal and a berry smoothie. They have everything from craft beef jersey, homemade oj, and local chocolates to soup, hot sandwiches and ice cream. Can’t wait to come back especially since I was told they will shortly be selling prepared dinners.

This place is so awesome. It opened up earlier this month (Feb 2016) and the vibe in here alone is pretty amazing. They are equivalent to the local whole foods, with an amazing deli and juice stand. Everybody’s all about healthy eating nowadays, right? This place is as modern as it gets: tablet ordering, organic and healthy food, delicious-​tasting food, positive environment. This places uses mostly all organic ingredients so everything tastes absolutely delicious. (They are also vegetarian and gluten-​free friendly.)
I ordered the Vegetarian Herb N’ Lentil Burger — soooo good. I very rarely order a vegetarian dish from a restaurant since I’m a true carnivore, but I had a good feeling about this place with this order and I don’t think I could have picked a better item. It was simple, yet complex enough and all of the ingredients complimented each other very well (Lentil sliders with avocado, fresh veggies, garlic aioli on toasted multigrain)
My partner got the brat, which was very simple, but sometimes simple is good too. I was enjoying my ‘burger’ too much, so I didn’t care much for it, but the brat itself did taste good (probably because they get it from an organic butcher down the road).
We also shared the ‘green smoothie’ which was a very nice balance of banana, kale, honey, and milk. I have had my fair amount of good juices with experience of making them at home as well, so I appreciate when places like these juice the ingredients in proportion to the other ingredients in the mix. It was a perfect balance and it tasted really good!
Fortunately for us, they were also giving out samples to the vegetarian chili they had, and that was pretty amazing too. I typically love beef chili (carnivore, remember?) and I’ve had vegetarian chili on a few occasions, but this was one of the better vegetarian chili’s I’ve had. It wasn’t salty, and it had a lot of beans, chick peas, and vegetables of the like.
They also had a sample of their gluten-​free brownie. Taste’s just as good as a regular one, so maybe when I have a sweeter tooth, I’ll get it to-​go.
It is a little bit pricey, but they are a local business and they do have organic ingredients, so I don’t mind the slight surcharge for great-​tasting food.
Can’t wait to come back here since I live close by, and I might be back updating my review with the other sandwiches/​juices I try. Now I want to try the whole menu!

This place is awesome, so glad I discovered it! Working in Tysons, my options for good, healthy, quick lunch (i.e. Sandwich or salads) are so limited. This is perfect. I saw they also do breakfast, can’t wait to try it on my way into work soon.

New Deli spot in Mclean a couple mins off Springhill rd exit on toll road on old dominion. Very nice small lunch spot, with a juice bar. You get to order your sandwich n juice from an iPad order station, so you don’t feel rushed making your sandwich topping selections. You leave feeling good because food is light, organic, and healthy and comes from local farmers and businesses.

Garlic broccoli fire. The most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten. If baby Jesus was a food, he’d probably be that.
They’ve got super cool tablets to order on too. And a BUNCH of cool fancy chips and sauces and seasonings and obviously sammiches. Delicious ones to be exact.
You order them on a tablet, but I already told you that… Best part is, they help you. I don’t know about everyone else but walking into a deli for the first time is like being the new kid in class. You have no idea what to touch or where to sit or whatever. Well imagine how I felt seeing all the cool stuff inside and then tablets to order on. Well before I could even look like the big, sad eyed new snapchat feature, there was an angel who explained what the hell to do. So that’s pretty sweet as well…
Also, they put a smiley face next to your name on your freshly made meal of pure amazing (the sandwich). Which I mean, how could you not be happy there.
