Best street tacos in McKinney! We tried the al pastor and pork torta. Yum yum yum! Add a pineapple soda and your all set.

So glad we discovered this place. I had missed good tacos and salsa after moving from Dallas, and these were the first in McKinney that I found that measured up to ones in Dallas. Great pastor tacos, carnitas torta, awesome salsa roja(very spicy and good!) I live 10 miles away, but its worth the drive.

Authentic Mexican food. My husband usually orders menudo and an el pastor taco. I order pozole and a chorizo taco. Delicious! Chips come with salsa in squeeze bottles. Spicy and very good! The breakfast burritos are also good… and very large.

Great street style tacos. Very fresh. Stopped in and had a bowl of Menudo and some carne asada tacos and some papas con chorizo. The tacos were awesome with their guacamole added. The Menudo was ok, but the juice was a little watery, needed more chile. The papas and chorizo were ok too. Will definitely be back for some more tacos.

Maybe not the best Taco’s in Collin County but certainly the best in McKinney. Had the Chile Relleno once, it was pretty good. Friendly staff.

I came here expecting more considering the reviews. Big disappointment! My order was incorrect and I have definitely had better tacos. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Nothing better than a hot bowl of posole to start off a cold morning. A little slice of Mexico in McKinney.

Went here and ordered the special and paid regular price for the meal. The beans are all refried and tasted as if they came out of microwave and that was what I expected as the food came out so fast. The gordita was deep fried as it should be made but came out drenched in oil and the food inside wasn’t much. I really wanted to like this place given all the great reviews but the food was disappointing; I give them two stars since the service was ok.

Taco’s are sick! Loved this place, probably wouldn’t stop in if I hadn’t seen the reviews first. Have told my co-workers about this place. Will be back for sure!

No frills establishment. They weren’t the best tacos, but they put out an okay product that is *super inexpensive*, and they are friendly and trying. Decided to give them a whirl for a dinner to go. Sampling ranked below. All of the tacos tried were just okay — nothing spectacular or crave worthy, but okay. I ranked them below in their order of «okay-ness» with the 1st being the taco pick of the lot.(All corn tortillas & topped with chopped onions & cilantro) Barbacoa: beats out all the other tacos on flavor & texture.3.5 stars Pastor: runner up to the barbacoa Chicarrones: little strips and bits of pork belly Chorizo: lacked on the flavor Lengua: texture was weird(I like lengua & don’t mind texture variety but wasn’t a fan of this one) Also tried a barbacoa sope — liked the sope texture but all in all it was just okay. Served 3 different sauces(a tomatillo like salsa that was very mild, a bright green and slightly spicier salsa, and lastly a red based spicy salsa with a flat, bitter, bite. Tacos: $ 1.25 each. Sopes: $ 1.69 each. I’ll be back to give them another whirl.

Love this place! Chicken tacos and chicken gordita are the best. I grab a to-go from here at least once a week.

Nom nom nom! If you are missing authentic Mexican like your abuela used to make this is your place. Buried in the suburbs, it saves me a huge trip down 35 to Dallas. Menudo on Sunday, yes please!

Delicious!!! The best tortas!!! No exaggeration, people probably don’t take a second look at this place because of the location but it’s truly delicious and the place is clean and the staff is friendly, their table salsa(the green one) is my favorite! Definitely a must if you’re searching for authentic Mexican food!

so, I came across this gem of a spot a while back. When i want good, homemade, real Mexican food this is where I go. It is your standard hole in the wall spot. Now I know lots of people avoid spots like these like the plague. I get it, it can be dodgy and no one wants to end up sitting on the toilet for two days after trying to be a lil adventurous. Thanks to Unilocal and adventurous souls like myself who think its well worth the risk if you find that awesome hole in the wall spot and this is definitely one of them. Its not fancy with a bunch of waiters and waitresses to cater to your every need but the food more then makes up for that. You don’t go here for the ambiance or hype, you go cause you know what real Mexican food is and love it!!! When you go here you feel like your at your nana’s house waiting for her to whip up your favorite Mexican dish. I would have only given this spot 4 stars cause, well lets face it, they are no Del Friscos but, since the only other two reviews are way off of what this spot should be rated I wanted to make up for that. I usually get my order to go but did sit and eat in the restaurant once with a girlfriend of mine and I had nothing but a positive experience. My friend who has never been to a hole in the wall spot and speaks no, none, zilch spanish really loved it and enjoyed the food. she and her husband now like to go there and have fun with the staff trying to pronounce the food items in spanish. They have also relayed to me that the people there are always so nice to them, so I am not even sure why the other two reviews are rating this place down based on service. Anyhow, go give it a try, I promise the food is excellent and you wont be sitting on a toilet for two days after eating there. On a side note, on new years I asked if they would make my a dozen tamales and they did. For those who know the work that goes into making these yummy things and how easy it is to mess these up, I am here to tell you that they were great!!!

With as many good Mexican joints as there are in Texas its awesome when one blows your mind and leaves your belly smiling. From the non greasy gorditas to the really amazing tongue you can’t pick anything bad because there isn’t anything below awesome on their menu. I asked for a side of avocado and the lady brought me half of one! Once people find out about this place you might not be able to get in.
