GetGo

I’m not even gonna beat around the bush on this one. Let’s me give it to you straight… This place… Jesus… This place… If my grandma had dementia, she would work here as a chicken fingers cook and would put the chicken fingers in to cook for about one minute or less and then serve them like that. And I know what you’re thinking. «Well that’s because she has dementia». But that’s not the case. She’d do that because it’s literally their protocol here to cook the chicken for under 30 seconds and then serve it. So in this case, her dementia would have nothing to do with the chicken fingers being raw because she was just doing what she was told to do! My grandma does not work at get go and also does not have dementia. She is also passed on, so god rest her soul but that’s beside the point. I’ve had raw chicken fingers here before and so have my friends. So when you go here and the cooks have dementia, don’t blame the raw fingers on that. Blame it on the fact that that’s just how things are done there. Also the food really didn’t taste that bad which is even more messed up on my part because I was knowingly eating possibly raw chicken like «Hmm, really not so bad if I’m being honest with myself internally» which I always am. So I know I said I wouldn’t beat around the bush but oh well because it needed to be done. So if you want delicious and probably kinda raw meat go here. It’s actually pretty good.

An alternative to Sheetz, this GetGo was near our hotel and a good choice for us since the breakfast area at the Comfort Inn was very small and crowded. They have a good selection of breakfast muffins and wraps and the coffee is very good. The food is prepared quickly and is really quiet good. After catching a baseball game at PNC Park we returned to this GetGo for a little midnight snack. The Jalapeño Poppers were quiet good. If you have a sweet tooth they have a large variety of donuts that is always a good choice. If you have a Giant Eagle card you can save on food and gas. We didn’t have one because we don’t have Giant Eagle’s in Virginia.

Gas for $ 3.69! It was under $ 4! A miracle!
That I’m rejoicing over this is not a good sign for humanity.
P. S. This GetGo is nothing but a little cube surrounded by gas pumps and doesn’t appear to have the amenities other GetGos have, but it worked for us since Kay was nearly outta gas.
