Awesome record store. Excellent Metal selection (new and used) one of the best I have seen outside of Chicago. Lots of rock lps — great selection and good prices. The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to returning when I’m in Lake County.

I highly recommend this place, I saw their ad on Craigslist stating that they had the lowest prices on used audio gear, I went there, and they were right. They had a vintage Sansui 661 stereo receiver in very good condition that they were selling for about half the price you would pay on ebay, Craiglist, or other audio shop. I asked if he accepted partial trades for used gear and he said yes. When it was all said and done I made an even trade that was a very good deal for me. They don’t try to get rich off of one sale, they want you to leave happy so you come back again. Every one there is very friendly and let you look around and take your time with no pressure to buy.

I had a terrific experience at Siren Records McHenry! I brought in my turntable for repair and their customer service is outstanding. A very friendly staff who are very knowledgeable and explained all my options to help reduce costs on the repair without sacrificing the sound quality. They kept me updated on the repairs along the way which was greatly appreciated. And check out their vinyl! Great selection of all types of music and are «haggle friendly». CHECK OUT SIREN RECORDS MCHENRY!!!
