I don’t know what possessed me to go inside, I guess it must have been the New York Style Pizza that Johnny claim to have. The staff at this particular eatery was completely out of character for a family oriented restaurant. I was met by a very young high school aged girl with her arms covered with Tat’s and wearing elongated plug earrings… not to mention that her demeanor was as cold as the food that I was about to receive! I should had excused myself and left while I still had a chance, but being a sucker for good Italian food I ordered the Italian Special Calzone, it did look good on the menu. What she brought back was something right out of a horror movie, two pieces of dough bread cut in half with a tub of tomato sauce right on top of it. I politely asked her what’s wrong with this calzone and she replied that’s the way we make it here smiled and left. I cut a slice out of it and I was horrified of what I saw inside… a little bit of nothing! This particular Johnny’s New York Style Pizza should be called Johnny’s New York Style Rocky Horror Show. This eatery is a complete disgrace to any New York Style Pizzeria. I gave them a one star because there isn’t anything lower that I can give… Yuck! Beware this particular Johnny’s is a complete horror show!

Four years later, that vile ad is still on these people’s wall. To date it has cost them $ 2400 in my business over the past four years(assuming I would have continued to visit them once a month). I emailed the company CEO with a picture of the thing, but no answer. In short — if you’re not a Republican, do not eat there.

This is definitely a watered down version of New York style pizza. It wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had but it was okay. I have never had issues with the service and I think it’s a pretty decent place to take the kids on a lazy weekend. This is one of those places that you have to make up your own mind about. Personally, it’s just okay.

My pizza, stromboli, old fashion calzones, lasagna, and salads have been pretty consistently good from this location. I learned from the owner that they are the only franchise who still makes their own meatballs, and you can taste that. I’ve been here many more times than i care to repeat and often times, as others have addressed there are unruly children, but i don’t believe that’s the job of the staff or management to deal with. All that being said, the only reason they’re not getting 5 stars from me is the variance in service. One of my regular waitresses gave superior service ALL the time(Nancy), but i haven’t seen in her in quite some time and often times the only person i recognize is the bearded guy making my food. The wait staff has been shifting and so service varing. Worth a few tries

My daughter is currently laying in the hospital after eating in this establishment! She only ate Johnny’s and was the only one to eat the garlic bread. She was diagnosed with sever food poisoning! I will be notifying the health department Monday! Please be careful!!! I only have it a 1 because I could post without giving it a rating!!!

The food is ok, however, the service is the worst. Last time I was there we waited over 45 minutes for our food ANDITWASN’T EVENBUSY! Not to mention most of us got slices which they just have to cut off and top and heat back up. I’m not going here again. I would not recommend this place unless you want mediocre pizza and have hours to kill.

The service was bad. The food was worse. I usually just look for decent places to eat on Unilocal, but felt strongly enough to add a short review. 1

Found this place by chance on Unilocal.Place was full Thursday night. Thought it should be good because of all the people. Well, it was. I ordered a lg sausage and pepperoni pizza. It took me 30+ mins to get home but when I did, we tore up that pizza. Maybe I was hungry but the pizza was good. I recommend

Unremarkable. Food — Nothing to write home about. Definitely not the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Good toppings and nice crust. We also had the garlic and cheese pretzels as an appetizer. Not terrible for something frozen then heated up, but in no way fresh and served without marinara. Atmosphere — Terribly decorated. I did enjoy the handwritten signs trashing Charter cable that we’re hanging from their tvs. The area outside the bathrooms serves as some kind of storage area where file cabinets and caulk guns are just hanging out for your kids to play with. Service — Pleasant and forgettable. The servers wore whatever they pleased, including short shorts and too small t-shirts. Our server did have the kitchen cut up the slices we ordered for our kiddos. That was nice. Overall — Unremarkable.

Great fresh toppings on the pizza. The calzones could feed two people easily.

Not too bad, only been there once. The staff seemed attentive and friendly. I had a calzone and it was anything spectacular but it wasn’t bad either. I may edit this review in the future after a few more visits.

Always delicious and great service! Only have 4 checkins but have eaten here 20+ times. Fall and spring are great times for outside dining too! Reasonable lunch specials– slice of pizza, salad and drink for 6.75.

This location is in a strip mall and I like the set up of it. The food is pretty good. My only complaints are this particular location considers banana peppers a «specialty topping» that comes with a surcharge. Banana peppers are standard at other Johnny’s locations. I have only been here once so I may update my review in the future. The service was good the time I went.

Very disappointing place. Food was mediocre and found the facilities to be not kept up… It’s really gone down hill since they opened, but they are close by. My last visit will be my last though. Had a coupon that this location has honored before from and I had another one. I present the coupon to the server and she takes my order. We eat and everything was OK… kind of light on the toppings… place is not very consistent really. I go to checkout and I am told they no longer accept this coupon… The coupons says it doesn’t expire and I even ordered extra food to meet the requirements of the coupon as directed by the server… despite that I am told they no longer take the coupon. The owner was not at the location and the management was nothing more than a bunch of kids. I don’t want to cause a scene… wish I had now… and I left my name and number and asked to be contacted… Nothing. I also contacted the franchise and he said he would take it up with the management at the local location… still nothing. Pathetic excuse for business if you ask me… boarder line crooked with the bait and switch… maybe they also sell used cars. Honestly I would rather have Mellow Mushroom anyway.

Quick in and out with pretty good pizza especially for this area. Was pretty quiet when I got my food so hope they are getting enough business to stay open.

Great food and true New York style pizza. Hand tossed — visiable for all the kids and adults to watch.
