I have been donating household and clothing to Serna Village for many years. I have only witnessed happy, energetic children chasing each other and playing with one another. I have seen activities being planned and have talked to a number of mothers who claim they watch after one another’s children and enjoy each other as friends; they appreciate living there. The office staff is always pleasant. I like seeing kids outside playing and happy and I always leave there feeling good. I have not personally seen anything negative to report.

This place is for low income families. Or those who have recovery needs. I have a friend that stays here and when I visit her I see so much drama going on. The staff argues with the tenants in broad daylight in open view for all to see. Some of the tenants… most of them are shady looking and argue with eachother loudly for all to hear. The children are not supervised at all. But… the apartment complex itself is really really nice. They are newly built and spacious with patios. They have a nice community room and there is a huge park and California Family Fitness directly across the street.
