Now for a solid objective review. This establishment is a cafeteria for sure. The quality of the food is much better then the buffet style all you can eat competitors. I have the baked chicken, it was cooked to perfection and tender juicy warm besides I chose sweet potatoes and steamed spinach both were excellent the extra side I chose was some mixed fruit it was not as good. I wouldn’t get the mix fruit next time for seniors after 4 o’clock the chicken and two sides is only $ 5.99 it’s as much as any person needs for one meal was delicious it came with a side of corn bread my choice could a got a roll I recommend this place and I will come back again

It’s definitely cafeteria style inside. The presentation is great, especially the desserts The food is rich and tasty, but not for the diet conscious unless you stick to the salad. The price structure when ordering can be confusing since the displays are not marked with prices, so its easy to break your budget once you reach the cashier since there are so many tempting dishes along the long aisle and its hard to know which is «extra.» The chicken soup a little salty, but the pecan pie was great and they are kind enough to heat it for you. Nonetheless its American comfort food. The staff is friendly and nice.

Luby’s just isn’t what it used to be. Food is worse, portions are smaller and prices are higher. There are plenty of better lunch options for $ 10, even in the Valley. The only reason I would ever recommend going to Luby’s is if you have the flu and want chicken noodle soup and mashed potatoes, or if you are in desperate need of macaroni and cheese, of which there is none other in the Valley.
