Every time I visit my mother in McAlester, we go to the casino. We usually have lunch at Trophy’s and I must say, everything I’ve ordered has been excellent. Today I had the Philly cheesesteak and I could easily have shared it. Between it and the heaping order of awesome fries, it was enough to feed two. Our bill was $ 10 for 2 of us. You can’t beat that. More money for the slots! The bathrooms are always very clean and nicely appointed. The drink area is well stocked and clean. Overall, I always have a great time. We feel safe and although smoking is allowed,(and I am a non-smoker) I don’t feel smelly or grungy when we leave. Parking is ample plus there is a shuttle if you have to park very far out. There is always someone to open the door and greet you when you enter. Mom uses a walker and there is plenty of walking room for her.

Date of Visit: April 2013 To give you a context of my review, I’m not a huge gambler. I don’t really do card games. Sometimes I like to just put 20 on red to see what will happen. My favorite slots are penny slots, even though I realize that when all is said and done, you can bet on multiple lines with multiple bets per line. When I go into a casino, I like for it to be clean and ideally, smoke free. I want to be able to find the restrooms easily, and get a beer if I need. So what an exciting place then, that this particular Choctaw met all my needs! Location: 5 out of 5(for me) Many of you drivers out there and motorcyclists too, will know that US Route 75⁄69 can be a very good route for driving from Dallas up to Vinita. It’s a long drive, and yes there are plenty of speed traps set by the local law enforcement. But it’s not unpleasant, and if you want to take a little break, there are plenty of casinos along the way. Some are big, some are small, this one is exactly«medium.» Plenty of free parking is around, and I got a spot in the first row! Selection of Slots: 5 out of 5 I love slots. Big slots, small slots, penny slots, nickel slots. I don’t win, ever. I’ll go up 20 bucks, and then lose it at the same machine. But hey — that’s how casinos work. If they wanted you to win ALL the time, they’d go out of business, lickity split. So it was exciting that they had a nice selection of hand crank penny slots, and even more exciting that they seemed to have a larger than proportional selection of high stakes slots(5 dollar pulls, woooo!). Doesn’t matter because I put 20 in the penny slots, and when I had exhausted those funds, I left. Selection of Table Games: 0(or 1) out of 5 I really don’t remember seeing a lot, if any, table games, but that may very well be because I was more focused on finding the slot machines. You may want to call ahead or check. Organization: 4 out of 5 Bathrooms easy to find. Sports bar in the rear corner. What more do you want? Cleanliness and Safety: 5 out of 5 Very well staffed, maintained, and patrolled. Security inside and security outside in the parking lot, along with just staffers making sure that I could find what I was looking for. I felt safe and comfortable during my entire stay here, not creeped out or nervous. Sports bar specials: 5 out of 5 Why yes, I WOULD like a large Coors Lite for 1.50 during happy hour. Heh heh. Look, some people go to casino restaurants expecting a super duper high culture experience. That’s all good and fine, but I like my cheap domestic beers when I’m hard«at work» at the slots. Overall: 4 out of 5(if you like slots) Clean, well maintained, and safe. Penny slots abound, as do high stake slots. The sports bar does serve food in addition to super cheap beer, and honestly — it was a nice way to stretch my legs while splitting a long drive up into more manageable parts.
