Kreate Studio

This salon is brilliant — they really emphasize 2 things: customer service and education. I love that they continue to train and develop their stylists no matter what the skill level. I found them in a moment of desperation after an ombré gone wrong and Jen really saved a bad situation (from another salon). She is also just a really great person so sitting with her and chatting is quite nice. I can’t say enough about these guys.

I came to Kreate from another studio when Jenn transferred. I have thick, greying, curly Jewish hair, and she has been willing to learn about my hair and collaborate with me on getting it «right». She’s given me unfailingly good advice about my color and cut, and whether she diffuses me curly or blows my hair out straight (which takes an HOUR), she nails it every time.
The staff are also very patient with my perpetual slightly-​late arrivals, which I appreciate more than I can say.

Kreate studio is a fabulous salon! The minute you walk in you are greeted by one the staff members who are always are energetic and welcoming. The service there is amazing I have been coming here once a week to get my usual blow out with stylist Claudia Alejos, who does an amazing job. If you are looking for that voluminous hair she is the go to girl. I wouldn’t be saying this as I have been coming here religiously since October. I would say the services I have gotten have been beyond my expectations. I have also got colored and trimmed by Claudia. I would highly recommend Kreate Studio and Claudia as your go to salon and see for yourself the amazing experience. Staff at this salon are approachable and friendly. Nice atmosphere (and cool wallpaper lol). Had my textured hair styled by Claudia. This was the first time I ever had a salon style my hair curly so I was a bit nervous. Turns out there was no need for nerves, the style came out AWESOME. I’m really happy with the way she handled my delicate strands. She’s a great listener and will be sure you walk out of Kreate a happy client. I will definitely be back.

I had my hair colored by by Ken after having my highlights messed up by another salon. Ken was really nice and actually colored by hair twice making sure I was happy with the color. I’m only taking off one star because by the end of my appointment Ken seemed to be very busy with another client, and left the drying and styling to his assistant. I don’t necessary mind this as she did a good job, but if I am paying for the head stylist/​owner I expect his time for the entire appointment.
I’ve also had Jen S. do an updo for an event and she does beautiful work.
