It had been a while since my last hair cut and the barbershop down the street was closed for the day. Actually, I was on my way to pick up lunch when I realized/remembered that there was a Best Cuts not too much further down the street. I was a bit worried that this place would be packed because it was your standard lunch hours. However, that was not the case. There was one customer that was already seated and having their hair fixed just the way they like it. I asked if they had time for a walk in and Diane told me of course. However, it might be about 20 minutes. I appreciate when places give an estimate of time to wait because we all have something to do or some place to be. For me, it was back to work and I hate being late. 20 minutes didnt seem so bad so I decided to sign in and wait. Im not sure that it really did take all of the 20 minutes but it came much faster than expected. My stylist took care of the lady in the chair and before you know it the clippings were cleaned up and it was my turn. I sat in the chair and explained to my stylist that it has been a while since getting my hair cut because the hair on the TOP of my head is getting scraggly and tumbleweed like. She seemed to understand and asked what I was looking for. Basically, I just want my hair to look neat, professional, and be easy to maintain. Im not the type of person who uses gels or creams or anything like that. Perhaps in my teenage years. She quickly got to work. While cutting my hair we discussed a bit further exactly what it was that I wanted to ‘fix’ with my hair. You see, time has not been that great to me. Im only 27 now but something in my chemistry has provided me with very thin hair on the top of my head and thick cherry golden locks on the perimeter. After 10 minutes or so I was up out of the chair and we were looking at products. She recommended some hair products for thinning hair and I agreed to try them. I am hoping for the best! I like this location because it is close to where I work. The wait time being minimal was perfect because it enabled me to get a quick trim while on my lunch break. In fact, I had time to do a quick run through Panera before returning to work. Fantastic!
