On The Go

On The Go demonstrates exactly what a sandwich shop is supposed to be. Friendly staff. Plentiful selection of sandwiches lots of unique combinations of flavors and ingredients. Everything is fresh and you can TASTE it. Major props to the quality of bread too! We seriously lack good sandwhich spots in this area so thank god for On The Go!

Superb sandwiches here at spectacular prices! Place is right by route 6 in Mattapoisett and has friendly service and all that goes with it.

One does not get the glorious physique that I have without eating more than their fair share of food. With that being said, I have only experienced a handful of foodgasms. Today at On The Go in Mattapoisett was by far the biggest and most powerful feeling of elation I have ever experienced. I would like to say thank you to On The Go. But I would also like to let them know that I dislike them a bit because no chicken sandwich will ever be their chicken sandwich. Until we meet again my love.

Prices are high $$ for the small portions. «Cory» the person who answers the phone, and does the register lacks personality, and good old fashioned manners, much of the time. Cory, even kept my change last time I ordered, when he took it from the register, and didn’t hand it to me. Customers shouldn’t be interrupted– so someone can take a phone order. It’s simply «rude Customer service.»
Pizza has sparse toppings– for the value. I have called ahead, and my food still isn’t ready as quoted «15 min time frame» more than once.
Tip: Hire people who can smile.

Got the blackened chicken sandwich (really good but small) and the Grandma’s Thanksgiving Sandwich, which was amazing! Great menu, I would highly recommend this place!

I’m not a regular meat-​eater, but their On-​the-​Go Favorite is wonderful! The roast beef is not your typical grocery store variety. When I’m craving some lean, tasty protein, that’s where I «Go!» :-)

The turkey dinner sandwich is my favorite thing ever. Everything I have ever gotten from these guys has been top notch. Awesome food, awesome people! Have been and will continue to be a regular. Would give 6 stars but Unilocal won’t let me.

Ordered some catered pans of pasta, meatballs and salad to feed a hungry skating team at a competition. Price was reasonable, absolutely delicious and we could not have been happier with the service. Food was delivered on time, set up and an extra tray of cookies thrown in for a treat! We will definitely use On the Go again for future catering orders at the Cape. Thank you for the excellent food.

Great place to go for lunch any day of the week. Pizza, sandwiches, soups, salads, and great for your summertime cookouts, as they take orders for meats! I have never had anything bad from them. They always seem busy, and as a year-​round resident it’s nice to have something that is open during the winter months where I can count on a delicious meal. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good lunch venue, or even early dinner venue. They even have outdoor seating during the summer months.

This place is my favorite place around the tri-​town. I come here for the excellent food and service. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It is a great place for gluten free as well. I can eat just about anything here from sandwiches, wraps, pizza and desserts. The gluten free pizza is the best I have ever had.

Gluten free heaven. Favorite place to take a short drive to in order to score some of Gods greatest creations… sandwiches. Only place I’ve found in years where I basically have an entire menu to choose from and can have anything from the buffalo chicken wrap (or any kind of wrap really) to a pizza, sandwich or salad. Always fresh, always delicious and always gluten free (for me anyways… they have all kinds of amazing breads for everyone else) Never had a reaction once and never once have I not liked what I’ve tried. Can’t say enough good stuff about this place. If you’re in my situation or know someone that is gluten free and struggles with finding a convenient and delicious place to grab lunch… this is your place.

This is by far, the best sandwich place I’ve ever been to! When we come visit from California, this is the first place we go to! The food is spectacular and the service is outstanding. Super friendly and they always remember our orders. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

We ordered assorted wrap platters, mac n cheese, and a cookie/​brownie tray for our skating team while at a competition in Bourne. The food was fantastic, very generous, and thoughtfully displayed and packaged. I really appreciated Corey’s help, one of the owners. He was great to work with on the phone. I would definitely order again and encourage everyone to not to pass up this little gem when visiting the Cape!

Our office at BOLD Welcome Center lives on OTG’s amazing salads for lunch each day. We recently used them to cater our company party of about 60 people, and they were utterly amazing! The menu was created for our needs, and the chicken marsala and steak tips were heavenly. The mashed potatoes and other sides were fresh and delicious. The servers were professional, nice and friendly. Amazing!

My boyfriend and I recently tried this place for the first time (based on the rave reviews on Unilocal!–They are no lie!). The food is AMAZING! –Great portions, great quality! It was absolutely delicious! The staff was great too –offering to let me sample the chicken salad, as I was having a hard time deciding (with all their mouth-​watering selections).
The staff was extremely friendly and we chatted with the owner for a little while. We will definitely be visiting On the Go again!

Absolutely the best wraps! Always consistently good!

This is a cute mom-​and-​pop sandwich shop with tons of unique combinations to choose from. You can make your own sandwich, or just order one of their delicious signature sandwiches listed on the menu.
There are tons of dank selections to choose from: about 20 kinds of meat (all Boar’s Head), 4 kinds of wraps, 5 kinds of bread, 8 kinds of cheese, and tons of «fixings.»
I’ve only been here twice and got the Turkey Club Wrap each time. It comes stacked with the works, including bacon, which adds a nice tasty crunch. I’m not a big fan of BBQ, but my BF is and he loves the Ranch Wrap, which includes BBQ chicken & sauce, cheddar cheese and bacon.
The prices are reasonable for the massive amount of food they pack in each creation. The staff is very friendly as well; the older white-​haired lady is the best. She’s such a sweetheart!
