Hey, so I ordered food at 1:30am as a last resort because the other place didn’t pick up. I got the food a half hour later and all the food was FRESH, Steaming HOT! The chicken was the best I’ve tasted in a long time. The rice was a little over cooked but the flavors were there. The phone service needs work! But I would tear their chicken up again any day :-)

The food is pretty good but the service is terrible. I’ve ordered for delivery and I had to wait an hour and a half for my food. Thats terrible seeing that I live two minutes away. I reccomend the orange chicken and vegetable lo-​mein.

The food is decent, but the service is super slow. On several occasions, I’ve called ahead of time, gone down there and still had to wait for my order. They aren’t always open during the time that the menu says they are.

My 1st impression of No 1 are favorable. The location is in the heart of Mattapan & the waiting room is sprinkled it a couple of tables & chairs. Not really a place for dining in. The walls are covered with scribbles from clientele gone by. Plus the large metal get gate is kind of imposing The menu is typical American Chinese fast food fare. I ordered the white house fried rice & the boneless spare ribs, a pretty standard order for me. The fried rice was packed with pork, beef, vegetables & shrimp. The spare ribs were moist, flavorful & the portion was generous. I will try this establish again & I hope for similar results.
