Tj Dillon’s Pub

This is one of the friendliest pubs my wife and I have had the pleasure of patronizing. While in Massillon, we go here almost daily. The food is great and moderately priced. Good drinks, too. We go on Fish Fridays for fish– lightly battered and flakey. I LOVE liver and onions on Wed or Thurs, Taco Salad (without the shell) on Mexican Mondays. (Ask for salsa to put on top) The servers are very friendly and often make our day. We recommend the place to all of our friends.

Took a very long time to get waited on, when the place was almost empty. Told the server I was a 1^st time diner and asked that the dish be made to «look pretty» because I’d be taking pictures to post.
The burger came out drowning in BBQ sauce, which was poured over top of the onion ring that came on the sandwich… making it soggy. Then the bun fell apart while I was eating the burger.
Frozen, nothing special French fries, come in a very small portion.
So, bad service, bad sandwich construction, bad portions and I walked out feeling like I threw away my hard earned money. First and last time diner.

Now THIS is a great local joint with great food, service and great prices! If they have fish or crab cakes on the daily specials menu, choose one of those entrees! The wings are out of this world good and much bigger and better than those sold at local competitor’s restaurants. The Philly steak sub is really good… Salads are fresh… The beer is cold. You won’t be disappointed!

This is your quintessential neighborhood bar filled with regulars and patrons that live very close by. The staff is sassy yet polite and accommodating… especially to said regulars. I am not one of these people, but based on I was the only person the bartender didn’t know by name I got the idea.
Its a small, slightly dingy atmosphere that has an irish theme. The bar is the best seat in the house (like most places really) and you can join in on some of the interesting, and slightly crude banter that takes place.
The food is all pretty average but at very reasonable prices… actually I would consider them flat out cheap prices. Just like the food the drinks are also inexpensive, but I would consider them below average drinks. Again, unless you are one of the chosen regulars and you get massive liquor pours. For food your best bet is probably to stick with wings and probably just grab a beer and you would be fine.
Its an ok place at best for most, but if this is your spot and all your friends are around getting blitzed with you its probably the best place in town for you.

I have been going here since I could eat more than baby food. Friday nights they have the best clam chowder around. They have a fun atmosphere and a friendly staff.
