This place defines suburbia. To big and spread out to make new friends, but if you’re trying to organize a tennis tournament or hotstove league its perfect. Several of my buddies ran an Ultimate frisbee tourney here because there was enough open space to run 4 fields simultaneously.

North Park is a nice place to spend an afternoon. There’s a little something for everyone here. This part features(from their website): a picnic shelter, restrooms, fully– accessible playground, 1.1 mile paved walking track, seven athletic fields used for baseball, softball, soccer and lacrosse, a multi-use track used for skating and bicycling, seven ballfields, six tennis courts, four basketball courts and two sand volleyball courts. I like to walk a few laps around the track when the weather permits. There’s usually a few others on the path as well, but it’s never been too crowded. One bad thing about the track is there seems to be a lot of goose poop near the pond. I’ve also shot some hoops on the court before. It gets super busy on the weekends, so you might want to think about going somewhere else unless you’re trying to get in on a pickup game. The rims are very stiff as well which doesn’t make it very fun. Find a way to get rid of the geese(or at least the poop) and add a fenced in dog park, and this place would get another star.
