Never really gets crowded that’s a plus for me but certain things could be maintained better, the smith machine is garbage don’t bother using it unless you want a torn shoulder. The cables could be maintained better on the cable cross over machines and the male locker room has maybe 6 lockers that actually are capable of closing and being locked. It’s a good gym if you want to be in and out not waiting for machines or are in limbo waiting for a new gym to open.

I became a member of synergy for their classes. I’m a flight attendant and can use machines at hotels for free so I just wanted some classes on my off time. What a joke. The Zumba instructor spent half the class dragging us up to teach stupid improv moves and was literally dragging girls up. I don’t pay to be dragged up to teach some move I learned at the club in college: what a joke: the classes are all horrible. Now I cancelled my membership and they charge a 30 $ cancellation fee. Rude staff and just negative experience. I’d rather be fat then give this company money ever again.

Terrible terrible gym. Dirty, rude staff, broken machines and locker rooms. Staff can never get you in touch with a manager because a manager is never there when needed. Gym needs to be shut down.

PLEASE READ!!! Ionly gave this begrudgingly one star. I had been a member four or five years ago and apparently it shifted hands. Great machines. Horrific staff. I went twice or thrice before being FALSELY accused by the man who signed me up and took my year payment in cash, that another gym goer accused me of being drunk. At 8 am. I was insulted and disgusted. They can take my money and I’ll eat it before going back to a place that insinuates I’m a alcoholic, 8 am??? I barely drink. I was looking for a place to get in better shape for acting gigs. After the man who I gave my money too said in private he believed me, the next day I greeted him. He rolled his eyes. I may not be a drunk, but I am a gay woman whom happens to have a shaved head and tattoos. I guess their stuck up clientele didn’t approve of that. I certainly do not go to work out drunk let alone in the morning. I don’t want my 400 bucks back, I want to let others know how disgusting and bigoted this establishment has become. After the incident I went to my screen test and got a roll. I’m also in orange is the new black for a hot minute. Not the point. Point is I loved that gym. I’m not naming the jerks name but insinuating I was drunk is insinuating I was DRIVING drunk not a good look. Poor buisness. Lol. I even asked him to smell my water And breathalyze me. Any one who asks what I recommend for a great gym would HAVE BEEN be synergy.. five years ago. Even if i did «smell like alcohol» to someone, hmm cologne, mouthwash, complete bull??? i stay to my self when i work out, headphones on concentrating on the days routine, SOBER, and certainly NOT DISTURBING any one. THe only six pack i love came from working out elsewhere. Sorry so long a comment but i flushed almost 400 dollars down the drain. IF YOU ARE GAY. TATTOED AND NOT A JERSEY SHORE LOOK ALIKE, GO ELSE WHERE!!! I only gave it the star because the gym is excellent machine wise. I could care less about the money. I don’t need it. By saying someone is drinking ALCOHOL AT EIGHT AM AFTER DRIVING THERE… IN MY WORK OUT GEAR AND WATER BOTTLE WITH… WATER… The man was pretend nice giving me a heads up to the «mysterious member» was fine until the next day when I politely greeted him he sneered and looked at me like a piece of trash. I have given at least 20 ppl gym suggestions and yes synergy, no one I know or knows my experience will patronize your good place gone Homophobic or whatever your problem is. Mr. I know your name but I’m not rude (as u are) to write your name I’m sure many decent ppl work there as well. They could have ignored the person’s comment and never told me and had more clients today. Unless they made it up themselves, which is what I believe. Cut that pass like a bad credit card. Happy I’m moving to Miami in a few days

I have been a member of Synergy for more than 5 years. This place has a nice variety of cardo machines along with a large amount of strength training machines. The staff is very friendly. The large, flat screen tvs found scattered throughout the gym are great as well (as long as they are showing something you are interested in watching).

I tried Synergy for a week. It has a lot of newer equipment but some of it is too close together. Especially the cardio equipment. The staff and clients are friendly. The locker room is small and not too clean. They do have a good selection of free weights and weight machines. They have a great selection of Tv’s but no way to listen to the audio. Their pricing is too high in comparison to Ballys, Extreme Gym, and Big Al’s family fitness. The later three off more for the same price.
