Stay away from this place. I ordered eggs on a platter and I saw the guy who took my order touch the eggs with his hands and he wasn’t wearing gloves. I asked them to remake the order and they didn’t want to. I spoke to Chris who said he was the owner and asked him why his employees were not wearing gloves. He told me to leave. I am going to dispute the charge with American Express and call the health department. Don’t eat here. It’s not worth it to get sick. There are many other good places to get breakfast in Massapequa.

Love the honey mustard tuna. Been coming here for so many years. One thing I can’t have bagels any more since I have a wheat allergy but their bagels are so good that I break the rules and have one everyone and then. Defiantly worth it.

Stopped here for breakfast on my way to work. My bagel was great, it was still warm as if it just came out of the oven. However, the staff almost ignored me for five minutes before they asked if I was being helped.

It’s the best place for breakfast if you are around the area. People are pleasant and nice and they are fast with the service. It may get crowded at times, simply because we have a high school just around the corner plus it’s a favorite place by the locals here in Massapequa Park.

Bagels are generally good but quality and variety hinges on what time you get there. Get there before 10am and you’ll have to wait in line but you’ll have plenty to choose from after that your assed out. Bagels are very good and the French toast bagel is a must try. Prices are on par for a bagel joint. Early bird gets the worm, late risers get the dirt.

I’ve been looking for a great bagel since moving to Massapequa, and Bagel Café’s got the best so far! They make great paninis(around $ 8) and wraps as well. The servers are very friendly and work as fast as it can. It doesn’t get as ridiculously crowded as the bagel place across the street, and parking is no object. They deliver too!

Food is ok, but how long does it take to prepare coffee and a bagel and deliver it a couple of miles away? Was extremely hungry and wanted a quick bite, but had to wait 45 minutes.

I was recommended by a friend of mine to try bagel café place. The food was ok but delivery took forever to get to me the food was cold and it wasn’t a good experience I hope they will improve their delivery services.

Bagels not great. Kinda raw doughy. Ordered two eggs on a bagel, got one. Long line. Lots of seating though if you want to stay.

My go-to place for an egg sandwich on a bagel. Pretty decent coffee, too.

So I ended up here since I was at the lab next door at 6:30am. I don’t know the guys name behind the counter, but he was so nice and polite it was unreal. At 6:30am after being at a lab for blood work, it was refreshing to come into this place. Its also very clean and the food tasted delish, my 6year old said her bagel was the best she has ever had(she eats bagels like everyday) my egg sandwich was just as good. I even told the guy it was a pleasure dealing with him, and how nice he was. When we left my 16yr old said even though it’s out of our neighborhood she would prefer coming here. With great service and food this place is a win win.

Conveniently located in the Massapequa shopping center, The Bagel Café is a good place to visit for your breakfast needs. They have a pretty wide assortment of bagels, spreads, sandwiches and specials. Their prices are a bit higher than I would have expected. The morning rush brought out a big line in their tiny store, but they got to everyone quickly and efficiently. I ordered a egg and cheese on a roll which was done in probably about 10 minutes. And totaled to $ 4. The egg sandwich was pretty good although I wish they had whole wheat or multigrain rolls. It was tasty nonetheless.

I went recently to bagel café for lunch. We used a certificate and ordered a pastrami and corned beef hero and a nova lox and cream cheese bagel. Both were delicious and very large. They also gave us a side of either potato or macaroni salad with the sandwich. The café is clean and service was both responsive and only negative comment was the bottle of soda that costs 2.25 which is a bit high. The price to value ratio here is above average for this type of restaurant. All in all this was an excellent experience and I look forward to returning in the near future.

Food is great, bagels are great. I love the egg everything bagels. They have awesome hot food too. They delivered trays of food to my house for a party, Marinated Steak, Chicken Marsala, Penne Ala Vodka, Fresh Caesar Salad, Thai Chicken Sticks, and believe it or not their hot chicken wings were really good too. But hands down they have the best bagels, especially, whole wheat everything, egg everything, and the French toast bagels. You can go sample the bagels all around there in the area, and this place has the best bagels, no contest. Nice place, nice people. It is the one across the street from Massapequa HS — NOT right next door to the HS, that one, The Buttered Bagel… sucks.

Horrible service. Bagel sandwich was cold. Don’t stop in, they are not friendly to out of towners!

Very good bagel and deli shop. They have something for everyones taste. Salads, Salad bar, hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast, bagels, wraps, and Panini sandwiches. They are only open until 4 pm. They often have coupons on-line and in the pennysaver.
