Maspeth Wash Rite Laundromat

My whole family has been a regular customer at this laundromat for the pass five years. It is very convenient because it opens 24 HR. We never have any problem with the staff, but the dryer machines ruined my laundry a couple of times. One time my favorite blanket got burnt from drying and I brought up the problem to the desk, they said they couldn’t do anything. Recently, I was drying my winter jackets and after drying there were a lot of oily substances got on my clothes. Another of my winter quilt got burnt from 30 min drying! I brought the problem to the staff and like last time they said the oil cannot be from their machines. They asked me if I left anything oily in my clothing. I ALWAYS double check the pockets in my clothing before washing. What’s more disturbing is that they instantly denied their responsibility and blame on me before they even investigate the machine. I will not go back there again. Very disappointed!

I’ve been using the drop off service at this laundromat for years. It’s usually a 24 hour turnaround time. The facilities are large and clean.

This is one of the best laundromats I have experienced living in NYC. I miss living in Queens just for this laundromat. The place is gigantic and spotless. The prices for drop off service is very reasonably priced and the turn around it good. They even have vending machines, TVs, and arcade games for the kids. It’s cash only but thats ok because they have an ATM on premises.
This place is at the edge of Maspeth on Grand Ave across the street from Stop and Shop and directly next to a large pool hall which you could play a couple games waiting for your clothes to dry.
