I pushed the normal boundaries of a meal size for the sake of Unilocal research, trying a grandma slice, a regular slice and a chicken parm hero. The grandma slice was the best of these items, while the normal slice was slightly overdone. The chicken parm was o. k but needed a higher ratio of sauce.

My favorite pizzeria. I’ve been coming here since I’m a year old. Of course it was different owners then, but the quality has stayed the same. Their pinwheels are the best around. Love this place. Also: the guys behind the counter are super friendly, so is the new owner.

What is the point of advertising a lunch special when it is not honored. First time here. Got the penne lunch special. Guy forgets my four garlic knots that’s supposed to come with the pasta. Alright not an issue 5 minute walk back. Issue resolved. Back at the office, turns out there’s only 3 knots when the advertisement states 4. At this point there was no point in going back through the humid hot air to remind them of their mistake. The penne itself wasn’t that good. Nor was the knots. Stick to Rosa’s pizza all the way down on Grand Ave for a better experience and better food. No wonder they only got a C in their health rating.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in NY in ages. They always have a great selection of pies to choose from and the service is impeccable. Try the mariachi pizza.

Love Maspeth Pizza! Great pies and fast delivery. 4 stars instead of 5 because the amount of oil has been extremely varied on my orders, but overall it is great. They also have mini cannolis that are only $ 1 and are amazing.

I ordered from this place for delivery. Well the person on the phone had me on hold for 3 mins. I hung up and called back. She then took my order. Do not know why she had me on hold for suck a long time. Then I placed my order with her. A plain pie for delivery. She took my info and hung up. Had no clue as to how much or how long it was going to take for delivery. Well after waiting ½ hr., I called to find out how much longer it was going to take. She asked for my info and then tells me 20 mins and that I just placed the order 10 mins ago. WTF! Really!!! Something tells me she didn’t take my order. Should have canceled my order right there. Well the delivery guy calls my cell phone tater then ringing my door bell. I go get the pizza from him and hand him a $ 20. He starts to walk away without even attempting to start to give me change back. So I only tip him $ 1. He tells me as he is walking away that I’m a cheap person. Well maybe if it didn’t take a hour to get this damn plain pizza and try to attempt to give me change and not expect a tip(bc I know it’s not the delivery guys fault from the beginning), you would have had a bigger tip. Worst place ever. Will never order from them again!

Decided to try this place… honestly…because I didn’t have cash and this place delivers. My usual spot, Gino’s pizza, only takes cash, and it was hot and I was running around all day. While this place was good, it’s not to my liking. First off, I will start with the delivery– the guy was an idiot, plain and simple. When he tried calling, I wasn’t able to hear him from the other end of the line, and it took us three times before we were able connect. While all this was happening, I had my husband go out and get the food from the delivery guy, but the delivery guy seemed intent on ignoring my husband, meandering down the street, not anywhere near my house! My husband even walked after him and said what his order was, but since it was under my name, the delivery guy seemed to be totally confused. Finally, we got the food, and the whole thing was mediocre. Garlic knots– no garlic chunks or oil or flavor. Maybe some garlic powder and parsley. Just a really doughy type of roll. Plain pizza pie– decent flavor, but it was a lot thicker and more bread to cheese/sauce ratio. So it didn’t feel like pizza, but more so bread with some sauce and cheese dabbled on. Primavera Mini-pie — this has the crispiest crust, but that’s the only plus to it. Would not be ordering from here again.

Never even realized this pizza spot was there. Normally my girlfriend and I stop by one of the 2 other pizza places in the area which are close to where we live. Anyway, this place was’t bad. Their garlic knots were pretty good along with the marinara sauce. Their Reg slice was just ok. The service was good. I do prefer the pizza down the road over this one but… perhaps we will stop by again to give it another try.

I have been eating here since I was probably 12 years old, before they re did it, and the pizza was the best! Now, it’s lost some of it’s charm. The pizza is still good, not as good, and the prices are a bit expensive. $ 16 for a pie when the neighboring pizzeria’s are charging between $ 11-$ 14. Delivery takes forever. I’ve called and ordered pies at work and waited about an hour and a half, which is absolutely ridiculous, and the pizza came ice cold. Their food is good, the baked ziti is my favorite. Just don’t have it delivered. All in all, this place is just ok now.

First not only is the food amazing and taste fresh every time. Even if the food sucked I would still dine there for the service. Everyone from the guys at the counter to the people who answer the phone when you call, to the people who deliver. Everyone is polite, friendly, they really make you feel your little 30buck order meant the world to them. Excellent service and excellent food, I highly recommend it to anyone in the area or passing through. You guys rock!

This is not the Maspeth pizzeria that you grew up going to. The pizza was good, but I went in for the first time in years since quite shocked to know that the only thing that makes this place Maspeth Pizza is the name. The place is immaculately clean, the service is great. The guy behind the counter was very polite and answered all of my questions. I’d return for the food to try more items. The buffalo slice was good. The regular tasted a bit bland. The margherita slice was good as well. I just think they lost the overall taste and appeal that Maspeth Pizza once had.

Actually the pizza was pretty good. Sauce was a lil sweet and crust was cooked properly. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the pie took a lil long to come then normal and it was $ 16.50 when delivered. I gave $ 20 total with tip. Really not much of a deal for a pie if I’m paying $ 2.50 a slice anyway for just decent pizza. There are other spots in the area that have lower priced pies.

Sweet sauce, but the pizza didn’t seem cooked enough. I’d order from here again, but I’d ask for it well done. The garlic knots are excellent, positively drenched in garlic, when they’re not burned. ETA: Never mind, no I wouldn’t.

I wouldn’t say this place is the best place ever but it’s a darn tasty local gem in Maspeth. For those who don’t know Maspeth, its a beautiful area of Queens that doesn’t have a subway near it. You can get off at the R/V a stop before the Queens Center Mall and walk/take the Q58/59 down Grand ave about 1.5 miles or you can take the LIE which stops right in Maspeth. Maspeth Pizza is your small traditional pizza place(sort of across the street from CVS and like 5 blocks down the street from Stop and Shop) with pizza, calzones, garlic knots, bread sticks, and stuff like that. I wouldn’t come out of your way specifically for this place but if you’re in the area you should stop on by for some carb goodness. The prices are cheap the quality of the food is good and the marinara sauce for their bread sticks is awesome.
