Applebee’s

I wish I had a friendly bartender. They don’t have Miller light draft, and that night they didn’t have Miller light in a a bottle. So I ordered a Gin tonic and they messed it up. It only takes two ingredients. I kind of feel rushed as well. I’ll just stick to Buffalo wild wings when I visit in Mason city. The spicy Thai shrimp salad was average. The girls at the front door were very nice. I wish they were in the bar area versus the unpleasant looking woman that was working the bar.

Party of 3 for my boyfriend’s birthday. I ordered a burger, got MEAT & BURNED BUN, had to ask for lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, & mayo. Upon requesting that, I received everything but lettuce. Then our party was watching 60 Minutes for approximately 20 minutes, some guys came in, obviously knew the females working & all TV channels got changed, except one. My grandson asked to have the TV that was facing him turned back to 60 Minutes as well. We were told that only sports & weather was to be watched on the TVs! When asked why, a female who appeared to be around 12 years old, with absolutely zero people/​customer service skills named Jacey (not sure if I spelled this correctly). came to our table, stating that she was the manager. When I asked her why we had been watching 60 Minutes previously, the channel was changed & she stated that she was too busy to change them before. I informed her that I did not want my burger anymore, suggested that she leave our table so that my boyfriend could enjoy his Birthday meal without an audience & perhaps she should return to her JOB, she got defensive & rudely told me to leave HER place or she was calling the police! Never once did she handle herself in a professional manner, nor did she try to give a positive explanation for not at least TRYING to honor a customer request. Alcohol was NOT a factor, & was not ordered by our party. We are 53 – 58 yr old business owners, my grandson in college. WE WILL NEVER FREQUENT THAT ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN!

Very Disappointing!!! Service/​food and managements .I have never been experienced like this before .The worst experience in my life. I went the with my family .we were 7 people thought apple bee might be good option for family dinner. First we waited too long when the table was empty but that is fine we don’t mind waiting. when we get sat .the made the first mistake got one wrong drink. the server did not come like 20 minutes then when we just mentioned that hey it was wrong drink. she replied that since it is drink you have to pay for it. I was surprised but we said its totally fine .then we ordered our main course. but not surprised we waited more then 50 minutes .when the food arrived it got worst.
we got steak which was well done when asked for med well, the mash potato were like cold and hard. the presentation was a
wife asked for her meal with no bacon bcoz she don’t eat bacon… we all got our meal but my wife has to wait another few minutes. they brought her meal with bacon .we asked them without bacon they apologies and took back. after few minutes they brought her meal back with same stuff with bacon. second times seriously???
About my meal I ordered vegetable pasta later after couple of bite i found some peace of chicken. I am vegetation since birth and they feed me chicken. I was really mad since it was a family dinner i didn’t say anything. the server was really nice she brought up check even before my wife meal which was returned twice.
The manager did not come to our table when we asked for the manager the may be 22yrs old girl came and talked to us .she did some comp to our meal and give us two coupons. since there is lack of poor management I would say. Its very sad to see the appelbee is going towards different directions .This was my second bad experience seems like they really don’t care it anymore.

My boyfriend and I chose against our better judgement to attempt to eat here last month. We were seated slowly even thought the restaurant was almost empty. We then proceeded to sit and wait for our server to come take our drink order for 20 minutes. The waitress walked past our table at least 3 times without even looking at us then went to sit with the hostess and talk.
After the 20 minutes we decided to leave and walked out of the restaurant. As we left the hostess called «thanks for coming.» SHE DIDN’T EVEN REALIZE THAT SHE HAD SEATED US 20 MINUTES BEFORE. And let me remind you, the restaurant was very empty.
We will NOT be going back. Ever.

Good quality, but portions have gotten small…

Went for lunch and got the 2 meals for 20 dollars. Great deal, I had the riblets and my friend had the shrimp and chicken. We had the boneless wings as the appetizer. All of it was pretty good, decent service. 4 stars 5−7−12

Hey its Applebee’s there all good but I do prefer to go to local restaurants.
