I have been a loyal client of the owner Gwen Homan and Studio 31 Salons for the past 8 years and have never left feeling anything short of amazing. From the moment I enter the salon, I feel comfortable and relaxed as the environment is sleek, chic, and relaxing. Gwen always starts each appointment with a consulation however she carries the conversation throughout my visit to ensure that each step is what I wished for as well as what is best for my hair. I appreciate this the most as we all know that communication between the stylist and the client are what ensures satisfaction! It should be noted that over the years my hair has run the gamete of colors, shapes and lengths. Gwen has tackled each new vision with vigor, knowledge and a highly trained skill set which always leaves me looking my very best. To say I am a satisfied customer is the understatement of the year! I look forward to my next experience at Studio 31 Salons!

I am still haunted by my horrible haircut from Atlee. She did a good job (well, ok job. There are bleach spots on my hair… in the front) on the color but when I asked her to take a little off and take out some bulk, she did neither. I am stuck with a terrible (and waaaay shorter than I wanted) box-​shaped poof that cannot be styled no matter how hard I try. I cried when I got home for the loss of my former collarbone-​length lob look. I can’t speak for all of the stylists at the salon but unfortunately, I can’t bring myself to go back and try someone new because of this scary experience.

I really have found the place I look forward to going back to! Gwen, the owner is amazing, I change my hairstyle frequently. She is always up for the challenge and offers great suggestions honestly and nicely and I have loved every haircut! She runs on time which is important to me. The day time receptionist Sharon is amazing! Friendly to everyone walking through the door, organized and professional, it’s not awkward walking in, seems like she knows everyones name whether they are there for hair or to tan. Studio 31 is always spotless too!
