Scheiderer Farms Garden Center

A great nursery and garden center. The service is fantastic. The prices are a bit high, but it’s good quality (and they gave me a plant free since they weren’t sure it would bloom.) There’s a good selection, and the facility is nice.

The Scheiderers are super friendly and very creative in their flower arrangements. The selection is always great. And, the plants are top quality and do very well in the ever changing Ohio climate.

The best greenhouse in Marysville is Scheiderer Farms. Don’t get me wrong I like Dutchmill too, but I think their prices are too high and not as good of quality or service compared to SF. Scheiderer Farms is out on Rt. 38 near Timberview golf course. They are always so incredibly helpful. The selection of plants and trees is pretty large and are their prices slightly high? Yeah compared to some others around town BUT the quality of product is far better. It boils down that you get what you pay for.
They also do consulting. For $ 25 or $ 50 (I forget) they came out to my house and helped me draft up a plan for the beds in front of my house. Laid everything out on graph paper, listened to what look I was going for and made recommendations on placement and types of plants and flowers to give me the effect I was going for. Typically if you do this with a professional company they’re going to charge you easily $ 100. The hope of course is that when you’re ready to buy, you do so through Scheiderer, of which I did, but got some stuff elsewhere too.
I went today to get my fall mums and they were big and beautiful. You know when you go to a place and you just have an outstanding customer service experience that will stay with you? Well I had one of those moments today with Donald. He was awesome to work with. He was like my personal shopping/​decorating assistant the entire time I was there. He was so personable, completely eager to help & layout plants so we could visualize how they would look, lifted all the plants, packed them up & even unloaded them to my car. I learned he is in school now and wants to come come back to Marysville after he graduates to become involved in the community to make a difference for the city. I walked away quite impressed with his personality & level of maturity at his age. His parents must be proud. Above and beyond service like this is what I’m talking about. No other greenhouse in town has this.
All of my experiences with Scheiderer Farms has been great and I’ll continue to visit many many times to come.
