Right off when we checked in at the front desk with Sharon, we knew we had made the right choice staying at the Comfort Inn in Marysville, OH. Sharon what a nice lady that made us feel like she was welcoming us to her home. She also had a trainee in tow who was just as pleasant. As an uncle I treat my family to a getaway in the summer every year for a Christmas gift-this year«The Columbus Zoo». Much bettter than giving gifts at Christmas as I get to enjoy my gift to them too! Sharon had set us up together in 4 rooms as we had requested when we made the reservations-Thank You! The rooms were spacious, clean, and welcoming on a hot day as they were cooled off when we entered. Great flat screen TV’s with DirectTV and a ton of channels, even the movie channels-also the rooms had great WIFI. Also a mini fridge to keep our leftover pizza from dining out, for a late night snack. Immediately after checking in we all went to the pool and hot tub, both were clean and inviting. The 8 adults and 7 kids enjoyed swimming for a few hours. The next day in the morning, the breakfast was equally awesome to get us started on our day, plenty of room to sit. I enjoyed a waffle made in the waffle iron, I made the cinammon one by accident as they had two places to fill your batter, one was original the other cinammon. I was glad I made the mistake as it was sooo good with the syrup and piping hot. They had a little of everything for everyone including eggs, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, cereal, juice, coffee, milk-very bountiful and much more! On top of all that we got fantastic recommendations the night before on where to eat(Benny’s) from Sharon and her trainee-equally as awesome-Pefect weekend-thanks Sharon for taking great care of us, and making me the uncle quite the hero!!! :-)

Check in was fast and the male at the front desk was nice. The room was okay, could definitely use some upgrades to the old furniture. There was a burn hole on the bed scarf. The bathroom could have been a lot cleaner. The toilet was dirty and there were multiple hairs in the bathtub. Breakfast was alright. There was not a cappuccino machine or sausage biscuits and gravy which I am used to with Choice hotels. There was no elevator, which I do not believe was mentioned on the website. If I didn’t get a great discount I would not stay here again. The standard rate is $ 94.99 and there are better places you can find for cheaper!

I stay in a lot of Comfort Inns, for whatever reason, and this happens to be one of the nicer ones(but also one of the pricier ones). It’s nothing fancy to look at from the outside, or even the lobby, but the rooms show recent renovations and attention to detail. The USB outlets are a nice touch. DirecTV on a nice new television, a fridge and microwave, nice workspace. Bathroom was minimal and water pressure weak, but you can’t expect miracles at a Comfort Inn, and at least it all seemed clean. It’s right off the highway, too, but also a five-minute drive to anywhere else in Marysville, so good location.

I wish I would have read the single review that is posted before I booked this room from the website. There is no elevator. This was not noted on the website. I’m 60 years old and arthritic. I was not offered assistance in getting up the stairs with my suitcase. The TV doesn’t work, so when I called, the front desk clerk told me to unplug it and replug it. I had to drag a chair to the tv and stand on the arm of it to reach the plug which is mounted high up on the wall behind the screen. When that didn’t work I called and the clerk said she’d be right up. An hour and 15 min later I went downstairs to get a newspaper since there was no TV. She had gotten busy and forgotten about me. They were all out of newspapers. The vending machine was nearly empty. I have not been offered a different room. In all fairness, I have not asked to change rooms. Can’t wait to check out tomorrow. NEVER coming back.

Just got here on a Saturday afternoon and tried to call the front desk… it rang for 10minutes and no one ever picked up. Room was ok I guess for $ 80 but there are better options for anything over that price. Tried the pool and jaccuzi and the room thier in was FREEZING! so was the pool water. Please keep it warmer in there and turn up the pool heater a bit! Also the jaccuzi could use a good scrub. From inside you could see discoloration around the inside gaskets. We also found a finger nail inside the folder that is left in the room. We’ll see how the rest of the stay goes… update…day two toilet clogged and we were given what appears to be the only plunger on the property. Home depot is across the street and plungers are like a dollar, if your going to have guests do this themselves put new ones in the rooms. The shower curtain was pretty beat up too. Little things really though… the hot breakfast wasn’t bad…
