We visited the place in the third week of Sep and the place was lush with apples of all kind. variety of options to pick from and comes with a free wagon ride. and the best of all accepts credit cards :)

First time here, brought my hubby and teen daughter. The owners were friendly and helpful, the apples were delicious and we enjoyed picking them and spending time together. Prices were excellent and we will be back! Hoping to get apple cider next time!

Now that the air is getting cooler, the leaves are changing, and fall is nearly among us, I have really been wanting to go apple picking! I’d been planning to do so for about a week and a half, and was SO excited to go. I’d based my whole Saturday around it!
After hearing some suggestions, I had my heart set on Lynd Fruit Farm. Thankfully, before we headed out, we checked their facebook. Even though apple picking had just started, they were all out of apples! People were gleefully posting about how they’d gone during the week and taken home pounds upon pounds of apples. Needless to say, I was pretty bummed.
After some investigation (and help from the Unilocal community!) I found CherryHawk Farms. When I called, I got the personal cell phone of the person who was working that day; a very nice touch!
We got there after a bit of a drive (though a pretty one) and were surprised to see a cute little orchard with unexpected surprises like chickens! We walked up to the white tent before the trees and were given our choice of several different bags and a basket. If we opted for the basket ($ 5 extra), we could bring it back next year (or again this season) for a discounted price on apples.
We decided on the basket and went to pick out our apples. We were pretty delighted to be some of the only people in the entire orchard! We basically had our pick of the McIntosh apples, which happen to be my favorites. We had about $ 9 worth of apples, plus $ 5 for the basket. $ 14 for a great time and some delicious apples, too!
Our experience was very different than what I had been expecting, but in a good way! We had an absolutely wonderful experience, and will definitely be coming back again (at the earliest this season, at the latest next year!) Would highly recommend.

We went to CherryHawk Farms today for apple picking and had such a great experience. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Our group had never apple picked before and he gave us some great pointers and suggestions on how to go about our adventure.
The orchard was beautiful and there were many types of apples still available. We would definitely go back and plan to again before the season is up.
Please please please give this orchard a try. It is a nice drive out there and a very enjoyable experience overall.
