Hillary’s Roadhouse Diner

Love to meet my friends and family for breakfast or lunch at Hilary’s. Great diner food with a special each day. My absolute favorite is the eggs Benedict! Husband reviews that the biscuits and gravy were lacking of flavor when he went for the first time, this past Wednesday, he promises to go back and give it another try lots of locals here each time I go in.

Wonderful, down to earth waitstaff. Clean. Good diner ambience. The Eggs Hillary were amazing and my dining companion loved the sausage gravy biscuits. Good wifi. Lots of refills. Good prices. Way to go!!!

The biscuits and gravy #4 with sausage and eggs is really good. Very consistent results every time we go here. The chocolate chip pancake is also delicious. Sometimes seating is hard to find on busy weekend mornings (you seat yourself).

Had lunch here today with some of my coworkers, at their suggestion.
Menu consists of extensive breakfast offerings, burgers, sandwiches and salads.
I had a fried cod sandwich with fries as my side. The fish was an actual filet (not square) and came on a grilled sub bun with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. The fish tasted crispy and fresh and the toppings were generous. I like tomatoes and they actually put what I would consider enough tomato on my sandwich. The fries were crinkle cut and could have used some salt but I took care of that at the table. They don’t have Heinz catsup; I didn’t catch what brand it was but I know that’s important to some so thought it was worth mentioning.
The best thing about this place was the fact that I may have been their youngest customer. Yay me!
Also, the service was good. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and even though they were slammed our food came out pretty quickly.
I’d try them again, probably for breakfast.
