Also, Alison makes you feel 100% comfortable and explains everything in detail so you know what to expect before and after. She is so friendly and professional. Alison is AMAZING! She is the consummate professional and on top of that, very friendly. I’ve been going to Allison over two years and each and every time is a pleasure. I get a monthly facial along with waxing services. I love the Image product that she uses on my facials and the fact that she sells the product she uses in her facials. I’ve never had better facials and she is very reasonably priced.
I recently got a spray tan from Alison and even that was a great experience. On top of the fact that I loved the shade of my tan, it softened my skin and lasted longer than the one week she told me it would probably last. Also very reasonably priced. Will definitely be getting another spray tan or two. She loves what she does and it shows in everything that she does. I always look forward to my monthly appointment with Alison.
Her salon is decorated very well and it smells incredible. She goes the extra mile and decorates during holidays.

I have seen Alison twice this summer — a spray tan and a facial. Loved her. The spray tan was the best one I have ever had — lasted a good 10 days and was so even and natural looking. She customized my facial and I was not disappointed. She is very accommodating, and runs on time but one feels so relaxed and not rushed during the sessions. I have tried three other places in Martinez and Concord and Simplicity is now my go to place.

Last year i sent my hubby, and his raving review of this place did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very inviting. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Alison customized my skin care needs, and my face is incredibly happy now. She is a very warm, and caring person who truly loves her work. We will definitely be back, hubby is due for another appointment.

I’ve been coming to her for a few months to get facials and I’ve felt the change right away. I love coming to her because my skin doesn’t get irritated.
She very professional and always explains what she’s doing. She has magic hands as this process is not painful at all and she helps me relax.

We celebrated our 12 year anniversary with first time facials. I feel rejuvenated, my skin looks great, and we had a wonderfully relaxing time. The bf was really excited about the extractions (which were gentle but thorough)! The neck and shoulder massage was one of the best I’ve ever had! Alison was friendly and very flexible. I always end up coming here when they have their $ 10 eyebrow waxing specials. It’s a really cute little salon and Allison does a nice job. She’s very mellow and doesn’t over talk you or over sell you on extra services. Everything is clean, smells fresh and the décor is soothing to the eyes. This is a tricky spot to have a business in as it doesn’t get much foot traffic so I hope she does well.

My experience with Allison was nothing short of amazing. She is very friendly and extremely professional. As soon as I walked in, she greeted me by name and a welcoming smile. I knew how I wanted my eyebrows done, but I couldn’t explain it. All I said was, «I like the shape but this area is too thick.» Allison went to work and did exactly what I wanted done. You know when people are writing this many reviews where they REMEMBER «somebody’s» name — that «somebody» is doing something right; And Allison at Simplicity is no exception.
Simplicity Skin Care is just that — BEAUTIFULLY SIMPLE, and Allison is SUPER COOL.
Im a dude so going to places like this just make me feel weird — but for interviews weddings and what not, It’s only right to tame these eyebrows. So my fault for procrastinating until the last minute, but Allison worked me right in. When I arrived I didn’t even know what I wanted, i said something like «I don’t want chick brows». Of course she already knew that though — as she explained that for guys, she just needs to trim and possibly wax the strays, but there would be NO shaping.
I was also curious about a facial — but didn’t necessarily want to leave smelling like lotions, roses or perfumes. NO PROBLEM. She threw down a custom recipe for an awesome man facial leaving my skin so clear.
Pricing is MORE than Fair. Imagine my surprise when the bill for ALL of this was easily 50% less than I had expected… This could easily turn into an addiction!
As unorganized as I was; Allison didn’t even flinch — she had me in and out in no time. THIS PLACE IS LEGIT. My only fear is that word of mouth is going to make it much harder to get an appointment in the future! But the truth is she totally deserves that.

Alison is terrific! She is very welcoming and genuinely sweet. Her spa is clean and neat; she plays relaxing music and the spa table/​bed is as soft and comfortable as a cloud!
I’m extremely careful about who I will let wax my eyebrows because I’m low-​maintenance and not high fashion and I don’t want a styled, shaped brow. Alison just cleans up my brows to look neat and does a great job. She works quickly but not rushed, which I like. And conversation flows easily if you want to chat, but she also respects if you want to just relax.
Try her out, you won’t be disappointed.

Two words. A-​MAZING! I can’t believe how awesome the facials are. I felt so pampered with all the deep cleansing, massage and special facial masks. Allison really made my skin feel like a million bucks! This girl knows how to shape some brows too. I am pretty picky when it comes to what I get done to my face so needless to say I was a little hesitant. I was pleasantly surprised because they really turned out great.
I think Allsion is the real deal. She has a great personality, smart business sense, strong work ethic, determination and drive. She wants you to be more than satisfied. I love what she has done with the space, so clean and inviting. Honestly I can’t wait to go back!
