Ladda is the all-time best hair cutter I’ve ever known. Very warm and inviting personality too!

Good basic no frills service from very pleasant people. My family have been going on and off for 10 years. I generally don’t have to wait. My preferred place for a quick hair cut at an amazing price.

Nothing but skills and kindness from Ladda. My son is very happy with his new hairstyle. Thank you… we’ll be back!

I have no idea how this place has 5⁄5 stars. I went here thinking that they must be amazing, considering all these other great reviews. I went there after having called in an hour early. When it was my turn, they were about to call me up, when a lady who seemed to be a regular walked in. She asked them how long it would be, and the lady behind the counter told her she would be after me. She then asked them again as the lady was leading me up to the seat. She turned around and mouthed the words«ten minutes» to the customer. Then my haircut started, and she seemed like she was in a rush. She took the clipper and just went at my hair, quick and fast. When she was done, my hair didn’t look at all like what i wanted. On top of that, she didn’t blend my hair at all. When i got home, my girlfriend had to fix the mess that was on top of my head. On top of that, i had asked her to trim my beard up a bit as well. She made it was shorter than i had asked for, and to make matters worse, it was misshapen. Overall, i was extremely unhappy when i left their salon, and certainly wont be going back.

Went here after seeing the 5-star review, and the generous $ 13 price and I decided to try it out. It was an awesome decision! Everybody here is super friendly, and they really know what they’re doing. I wanted a more modern, young-guy style and I got exactly what I wanted. I showed them a pic of what I wanted(as I didn’t know the lengths just by looking), and the nice lady that helped me told me exactly what lengths she was going to do and walked me through the whole cut. I had her do a couple adjustments, but she definitely was happy to do whatever I wanted, and she did a great job! I def recommend this place!

I have become a regular at Perfect Haircuts in Martinez. Ladda does an outstanding job cutting hair and is a wonderful person to deal with. She is very accommodating with my schedule and makes herself available on short notice. I am happy to say that Ladda is the reason I won’t go anywhere else. Thank you for the great service over and over again!

Just moved here, checked out Unilocal, and found Perfect Haircuts. Good reviews and conveniently close by, so I dropped in for a quick haircut. But I was very pleasantly surprised. No frills but very clean and bright. I really liked the relaxing atmosphere. Stylists were very friendly and warm. My stylist, Ladda, was wonderful, very nice, and did a great job on my hair! Just the way I like it, easy to style with nice attention to detail. She really cares! Conveniently located next to CVS and Safeway, and Burger King in the shopping center on Alhambra Rd. And great price!

Love this place — they do an awesome job for such a great price! You’d think doing layers with naturally curly hair would be pretty straightforward but have gone to much higher end places that really have butchered it. Have had it cut here by both Tina and Ana and they both did an amazing job. I actually had 2 people at work the next week ask where I got my hair done so to me that speaks for itself.

$ 13 for a haircut?! SOLD! My hair is healthier than it’s been in quite some time and I appreciate how patient the ladies were with my somewhat distracted child(she was fascinated by the whole process). I had my eyebrows waxed here as well for $ 10 but I wasn’t as impressed and probably wouldn’t have that service done again. Haircuts are done on dry hair that they spray with water and there’s no style unless you request and pay extra. I can totally live with that since I just need my hair trimmed, super low maintenance. They seem to have really reasonably priced products in the salon as well. Make an appointment in advance because they’re popular and you’ll have to wait if you walk in, even on a weekday.

I have been going here for 20 years. For the best men’s haircut, ask for Ladda. She does exactly what you ask for every time. Can’t beat a price of $ 13 either.

The price is great, but forget that. If this place cost twice as much I would still come here religiously. I used to go to a barbershop that charged $ 30 for what is in every way the same haircut. Ladda is my go-to and is fast, efficient, super friendly, and makes you feel like family. Try visiting her in a bad mood and see if you can hold on to it. You can’t. Experience tells me that its easy to buy a bad haircut, but Perfect Haircuts is the cure for that. Their name says it all.

An AWESOME hidden gem in the East Bay! A haircut for $ 13??? I mean, where can you find that nowadays!!! I got my cut from Ana, and she was perfect. They were even about to close, and Ana still was able to squeeze me in without rushing. Their products are also very reasonably priced. They had a Costco sized American Crew shampoo for just $ 15! That my friends, is a STEALLLLL! I will be back often!

I’ve had black hair my whole life(I’m Asian, afterall) and lately I’ve started to dye my hair a chestnut color. After about 2 – 3 dye jobs with Kim(I have to admit, part of the reason I love her is because we share the same first name), I feel qualified to «review» the services. Kim really did a bang-up job. She’s my «go-to» trim person and the ONLY person I trust to touch my bangs, and now, she’s my colorist too. The first time I came in for a color I told her how nervous I was and all the horror stories I’d heard about hair damage etc. that results from dyeing one’s hair. Kim put me at ease, and I felt a LOT more comfortable once I learned that not only does she specialize in color, she has her entire salon take bimonthly classes from color experts at Paul Mitchell to make sure they’re up on the latest products and trends. Really fantastic. Color turned out great, and she recommended some great products to reduce any breakage or damage that I might have incurred from the treatment. P. S.: The Paul Mitchell smoothing serum she sold me is actually 3 $ cheaper than on — I was very surprised to find this out, seeing as I always thought salons had ridiculously jacked-up prices!
