Headways Hair Design

I was visiting Martinez from another part of California and desperately needed a haircut. Headways was pretty much a random pick, just looking for a shop in the downtown area that wasn’t a chain that would accommodate a walk-​in. It was the end of the day, but Michelle was willing to stay. Michelle had easy style, with apparent expertise and experience, and a great conversationalist to boot. I got lots of compliments on the haircut, and taking a close look at it the next day, I agree.
Overall, a quality haircut at a good price, a great value. Whenever I’m in Martinez, I know where to get my hair cut!

Expect beautiful color, for a great price, at a very quick speed!

Jane cut my hair a couple months ago and it still looks great. She did a fantastic job. She’s also very friendly and squeezed me in on short notice.

What a surprise! I went to Headways to get a trim on my daughters very long, thick and curly hair before she returned to college. I went there because I had just bumped into my hairdresser from 15 years ago at the gym and she told me she was now working there. Well, this was her day off but, no problem, Sandrin was available. So off we went.
Sandrin is a lovely, young, trendy thing and she did a great job of trimming my daughters hair, straightening it first so she could get it right. She was a great chatterer and after not long, having discovered that her mother allowed her to cut her hair (and seeing photos), I decided to let her have a go at mine.
My hair was mid length, boring, and a pain to style in the mornings. I decided to let her cut it short! We talked about it, discussed what I was comfortable with, and she did a lovely job!!!
Oh and VERY reasonably priced.

If you are looking for a great hair stylist, ask for Michelle C. She is THE BEST! Michelle does my highlights, touch-​up color, cut and she even does facial waxes. I always come out feeling beautiful.
