Judy is the best color consultant period. I have never met anyone like her. I moved into a new house a year ago. I am an artist. I pride myself on my knowledge of color. It turns out I know just enough to think I didn’t need help. After a year of bringing home samples and making a patchwork of color in every room of our house, my husband took action. He searched on Houzz and found lots of good reviews on Judy B. Goode of Goode Color. I called her up and she came out the next day even though I live 40 minutes away. I liked her the second I opened the door. She is confident, comfortable and sweet. She knows how to listen to what you want. Judy worked for Benjamin Moore for years and knows their paint inside and out. Including how they react to each other in every lighting situation imaginable, She has, what seems like, and endless supply of large sample sheets. if i looked at a color and said«it like it but it has just a touch to much yellow for me,»(I’m a tad picky) she would know what color I wanted. She came and saw what I had done. She listened to what I wanted and chose the most perfect colors. The light changes in my house and she coordinated each room so it would flow seamlessly into the next. I wanted to do grey in my entryway but my great room has brown tones in the granite and fireplace rock. She picked the perfect grey tones with undertones of browns for the great room, greens for my office, blues for my dining room. Very subtle but effective color changes. She has professional painters and artists she can recommend. My house is gorgeous! Perfect. I walk through each room and love each one. I know I never would have been able to achieved this on my own.
