Great selection of all types of alcohol! One of 2 places I can purchase my Tierras organic tequila in the state. Prices of it are cheaper than mail order. Courteous staff. Reasonable prices. Clean establishment with plenty of parking!

blanchard’s is the biggest store near me, and it’s a nice place to stop in and check out if you’re in a bind to get something very specific due to their vast inventory. their buying power is such that you can count on just about anything to be in here. they don’t have the most crazy-obscure things if you want something totally bonkers, but i’m willing to bet they’ll have a lot of things you’ve probably never heard of. a lot of reviewers here complain about the staff, so here’s who i’d recommend talking to if you go in: jim, the wine manager, has been in the business for longer than i’ve been alive and he is phenomenal in giving you a five-second lesson on a bottle of wine if you’re in a hurry, or if you have time to kill and might be looking to pick up a case for a party. he’s very intelligent and approachable — check him out at the center desk in the middle of all the wine. teryl’s the wine assistant, and she does very well at pairing wine with meals if you want to impress company on the down-low. kyle, the craft beer manager, is literally obsessed with beer. he’s probably one of a select few that inspired me to get into the craft beer game in the first place and he has personally selected everything in his department. they’ve recently expanded the beer floor because it’s been doing so well, and the mayflower brewery has endorsed him for having such great sales from a fantastic local brewery. i should hope that says something! if you’re looking for bombers, foreign or domestic, he’ll have a lot on hand. he’s a very low-key and approachable guy about beer. the rest of the staff are hit-or-miss. linda’s very kind at the register during weekdays, and the weekend night crew are always having a good time — it’s fun to feed off that kind of energy on your way out!

So, the staff as we all know is generally very rude. They have the attitude that we need them more than they need us, and they treat everyone like a liar and an outlaw. You can’t sit in the car or they’ll ID you too. I’m 26, god damnit. But they have a huge selection. And my favorite hard to find wine. It’s got some good beer tastings, too. It’s close to home, so that’s a plus. But generally, the attitude is why it’s a 3 instead of a 5.

I’ve never seen such surly employees anywhere. Don’t waste your time here, the beer selection is good but there are other liquor stores with a better experience and the same goods.

Large walk in cooler, decent size craft beer selection. Semi-helpful staff, and by that I mean 90% of the time I know what I’m looking for. The other 10% I need to feel confident the staff knows what I’m looking for(this usually pertains to choosing a «special» bottle of wine). The parking lot is kind of a bitch to get out of if you’re turning left(east), but during the major holidays they have a policeman to manage the situation. How can you be a hater when The Man is helping you buy booze?

Blanchards gets 2 stars because of the massive selection. MASSIVE. Tons of small batch beers or small brewers and far more wine than any other store I’ve seen. The downsides are many… everytime I walk out of there Im pissed because it seems that all of the staff is pissed off too. I’ve never seen such a grumpy group! Aside from that they just seem like an unorganized bunch. Two seperate times I showed up when it was supposed to be open and *(Frank) Voila!* the Closed sign is still up! Just awful… You’ll also pay for the giant selection as the prices are way too high.
