Wolfe Eye Clinic- Marshalltown

I’ve been taking my 8 year old here since he was 1 for lazy eye. Dr. Donny Suh has been his primary eye doctor. He’s out of Des Moines but travels to the marshalltown location once a week.
They are pretty efficient in this office. No more than an hour for all checks. When I took him to Iowa city it was a half day process. So I much prefer this office.
Dr. Suh has always been super good with my son. He explains things to me so they make sense and makes my son feel special. Dr. Suh has done two eye surgeries on my son. One when he was one and the other when he was two. The surgeries were done in Des Moines but all the pre checks and post checks done in marshalltown.
The reason I’ve driven to marshalltown from cedar falls for the last 7 years is there were no highly rated pediatric opthomologists in the area at the time of my sons lazy eye diagnosis. He needed a doctor that specialized in muscles of the eye not just sight.
I will continue to make the journey to marshalltown twice a year for my sons checkups until they clear him that he does not need the attention to his muscles.
The only downside is that because Dr Suh is only here once a week it can take weeks to get an appointment unless it’s an emergency.
