Easy to find. In the same lot with Kroger. This was my first visit to Café Italia and I would probably visit again when in the area. It’s a nice restaurant and there’s a lot to choose from on the menu or if you are there before two then you can choose from the $ 10 all you can eat buffet. There’s a great selection of pizzas, lasagne, spaghetti bolognese, salads and desserts. The atmosphere is quiet and spacious and attentive wait staff. The only downside was seeing a bug crawling near the food bar

Waitress was very friendly and attentive, but the cashier who(sort of) greeted us and then acted like I had disturbed her when I went to leave and pay leaves much to be desired(hopefully she’s just a Summer help high school student). $ 10 lunch buffet seems a bit pricey, and I don’t remember it being that high last time I ate here. I’ve never seen them before, but the sheer volume of flies this visit makes me think something has changed here. I was waving them away from my face, employees were waving them away from the pizza — I did not ask for a side of flies with my $ 10 pizza slices. Sadly, I’m not sure I will be back.

Gucci’s closed and reopened at a new location(now located near Kroger and Hope’s Closet). As an initial disclosure, I do know the owners as they are dear church friends. The pizza is wonderful. I’ve been there several times in the last year. The pizza and pasta are delicious and far better than any of the chain pizza places in town. If you want a sit-down pizza/pasta experience, Gucci’s is the best place in the area to get that. The salad bar is also well-stocked for those looking for a low calorie option.

Marshall’s only local pizza place. I’ve never been a huge fan of pizza, and frankly, Gucci’s doesn’t change that for me. Their pizza is as good as almost any, and frankly, better than most unless you go to Dallas or Austin. So if you are a fan of pizza, you should like Gucci’s. All pizza is freshly made and generally is made from quality ingredients. They have a wood oven, but it’s my impression that not all pies are made in that oven. Other items, sadly, are not quite up to the standards of the pizza. Pasta dishes are fair to mediocre. On a positive note, the salad bar is basic, but generally the ingredients are very fresh.(Which I’ll take over voluminous and not fresh every day of the week.) House made Greek style salad dressing with feta is quite good, too. The restaurant is well managed by, no surprise, a really nice guy name Gucci. The service is generally very prompt, at least initially, and quite friendly. Polish? No so much, but you don’t get that much of anywhere in a small town.

A Marshall tradition for decades. Real wood fired gourmet pizzas, and a buffet that is top notch. The appetizers are most definitely not the star attraction here, as they are quick fried frozen commercial product. Save your money and wait for the pie! Would especially recommend the spinach, or the pesto shrimp gourmet pies!

Oh man. Where do I start. This place was *good* before… now it’s AMAZING. The staff is always courteous and attentive, the pizza and pasta are awesome(Firehouse Pizza is seriously one of my favorite pizzas of all time…), and the atmosphere is much nicer now that they’re in this new location. The only thing I would say is that it’s a little expensive, but you DEFINITELY get what you pay for here. They also have a great buffet! Try it out, you won’t regret it.

By far the worst pizza place I’ve ever been too as far as food goes! On the same plane as a place like CiCis or Stevi B’s. Ordered a meatball sub, the meatballs were very bland and dry. Texture was rough. The sauce had no flavor and the consistency was uneven. Bread was very hard and tough to chew through. Pizza that was ordered was thin and about as tasty as cardboard. Sausage looked like it had just been thrown on a frozen pizza after going through a microwave. Bottom-line, do not go here. I think the only reason it has any positive reviews is because it’s a small town and not many options for pizza. Better tasting pizza can be found in the freezer at Wal-Mart. If the food quality improves then it would be better, as the ambiance and cleanliness was nice.

Top notch pizza especially on a buffet! Gourmet pizza with no limits… dangerously delicious! I haven’t had pizza that made me feel like I wanted to go back in a LONG time! Our first time here… we will be back!!!

We went on opening day and the service was really good. They also made some changes to their menu that made it better than before in my opinion. We had their spinach pizza, bread sticks and gyro plate. All three were really good.

They are back! I go out to Marshall a couple of times a month for business and am ecstatic that they are opened again. It’s a great buffet(way better than Cici’s).

Gucci’s is back! The family-owned Italian and pizza restaurant has reopened in a new location, this time in a shopping center next to Kroger. Gucci’s pizza has been an East Texas institution for several decades and the new location sets the stage for years to come. The thin, buttery crust, fresh sauce and generous toppings cannot be matched. The pizza is served buffet-style during lunch. In the evening, Gucci’s full Italian menu is available, including items prepared in Gucci’s new wood-fired brick oven, the centerpiece of the new kitchen. Beer and a nice selection of wine available.
