I came in on Friday expecting a typical pizza place but I was greeted with a big smile by Maria. I asked about the heart shaped pizza(heartbreaker) and she said they would have it available on Valentine’s Day. She explained how the ordering process worked, making my papa murphy’s experience wonderful. I called in the order today and came in with it ready for pick up. Update: After eating the pizza, I find the crust to be a bit too dry and not fluffy at all. I also added some Tony Chachere’s season to kick it up a bit. And for that reason, I had to deduct a star.

The pizza is very fresh tasting and soooo good. They have specials going on a lot too and offer a military discount. It’s so yummy! Try it out if you haven’t. Also, apparently they have a $ 5 pizza special most days in the evening. They never tell us about it and say no specials, but then we always see someone walking by with a big sign about it. They should really do better at letting customers know the specials and not leaving stuff out on purpose. It has happened to us two times now.

I wish i could give a 4.5 but since i cant i am going to give a 5 instead of a 4. There are not any good pizza places over on the westbank(not a fan of Mo’s). The hubby and i have heard nothing but great things so we tried it. The pizza was great. Other than the fact that the lady got my order wrong(ordered for pickup) and gave me 2 pizzas both with half bacon(i just wanted one with half bacon) it was really good. The crust to cheese and tipping ratio was spot on, one didnt overpower the other. Pricing was decent, spend what i would normally spend at Pizza Hut but it tasted way better. This is probably a now go to pizza place when in the mood.

Very surprised at how delicious the pizza was. There’s not a big variety but think of how creative you can get with adding your own ingredients ! Overall, delicious and plenty for the price. Ingredients looked fresh too! Took me less than 10 minutes to get in and out and less than 30 minutes to bake! A good choice for the hard working parents who can’t cook dinner every night.

I grew up eating Papa Murphy’s pretty often, so I was happy to hear one opened up on the Westbank. I would describe Papa Murphy’s as the«Subway of pizza restaurants». You choose the crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings, they make it from fresh ingredients in front of you, wrap it up, and you take it home to bake it in your oven or grill. It is a great option for busy families because you can buy the pizza any time and bake it when you want to eat. Since you are baking it yourself, you can also add your own toppings at home. Many times I’ve been too lazy to make my own pizza dough, and have used a Papa Murphy’s cheese pizza as my base for my own creation. I love that they have a little kid’s «pizza kit» for kids to make their own pizzas. I use to love topping my own pizza when I was little. They have their own«signature» pizzas if you’re not feeling creative. The Mediterranean delite is very good. They also have salads and cookie dough to complete your meal.

If you are anything like me, sometimes you feel like cooking a pizza. Most of the time, though, I don’t feel like making crust at home, nor do I feel like chopping up veggies and other things as toppings. This happens frequently after taking the little one to dance class or soccer. Papa Murphy’s is perfect for those times, especially with the Grand Opening specials that they have at this location. I think this might be the first Papa Murphy’s on the southshore, and I’m glad it’s right near my house. The artichoke chicken«delite» pizza? Yum. One thing I noticed about this particular location is the greasiness of the crust. This isn’t the norm with Papa Murphy’s, but was an issue with the first pizza I picked up from this location. Probably just some grand opening/new staff inconsistencies. Overall, a great value, relatively fresh ingredients, and a great dinner idea for parents with an overloaded after school activity calendar(like me!)
