Don’t go if you have somewhere to be! I waited over 20 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese! The service is beyond awful and they NEVER have enough people working. On a Sunday morning 1 person working just taking orders as we sit there and wait. A second girl finally came in and was so slow. I literally watched over a dozen people come and go with there bagels as I sat there patiently waiting for my bagel to go in the toaster. It’s a shame because they have good bagels but as of today they lost my business!

Great bagels-terrible customer service. Every time we call to order bagels the woman who answers the phone is extremely rude. Why work in customer service if you can’t say a simple«bye» before hanging up?! She doesn’t say goodbye or how long it will be, she just slams the phone down! Unbelievably rude-we can’t be the only one who feels this way. How has she not been spoken to about proper phone etiquette or better yet why is she still employed?

Really not the greatest bagel shop. Seems to be reheated and the coffee selection is «eh».

This place makes pretty good bagels, but nothing can ruin a choice bagel as much as poor customer service. Didn’t get a hello or a smile or a good morning. Just a «what do you want» from the cashier. She had a nasty attitude. Clearly she did not want to be there this morning nor did she want me to be their either. What a shame. This place makes a great bagel. But I wouldn’t want to put up with that sad excuse for customer service ever again. My tip: fresh new faces! Good luck!

It sucks because this is the closest bagel place and the food/coffee is fine. Unfortunately, the people that work there are unbelievably rude. The first few times I thought I was just catching them at a bad time. Over time, I realized that two of them in particular are just always rude. Lately I’ve had to debate with myself whether its worth it to have a close bagel place nearby and deal with these incredibly horrible people. For example, if you order too much, they get angry and slap your bagel together in front of you with hatred in their eyes and shove it back in your face. They act like people being customers is somehow our fault and we’re inconveniencing them. At this point, we will likely follow what most of our friends in the area have done. We’ll just take the easy extra 5 minute hike down the road to another place instead. I’m sure the workers there couldn’t care less that they blatantly turn away business. I don’t know who owns that place, but its a ballsy to let this go on every day. Maybe business is good enough that they don’t care. I’d recommend anyone thinking of opening up a bagel place, just set one up nearby or in the same complex, and simply act normal to other people. Free World Bagels would 100% close almost instantly. There’s very few businesses I’ve encountered where they clearly disrespect their customers as a normal practice. Its bizarre, but I guess run your business how you want it, and that’s why we have things like Unilocal and the Better Business Bureau.

Ugh. Lady behind the counter needs a little people skills training. «I’d like a PB&J bagel please.». «No! No peanut butter!». «Then I’ll have a cream cheese and jelly bagel.». «No! No cream cheese.» She freaked out my young daughter who now doesn’t want to go back. They we’re also out of plain bagels. This was at 11am. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. You know the one! «NOBAGELFORYOU! COMEBACKONEYEAR!!»

Our business, The Burgundy Café, placed an order for a few dozen bagels for a catering event. The owner Jim, had our order hot and ready at 6:00am. Our clients raved about the bagels. We will definitely use One World Bagels again.

I’ve only been here twice, and I can only speak for their bagels and spreads and not their sandwiches. Bagels are out of this world, absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend worked in a bagel shop in high school for several years, so he’s incredibly picky when it comes to bagels. He loves the bagels at this place. Their cream cheese is amazing. Each time I’ve had friendly, helpful service. It’s a little farther from us, but this is our go to spot for a weekend breakfast of bagels and cream cheese!

On a 70-degree day, the door to the shop was open and inside temps had to be around 90. The cook was sweating profusely. The owner was flapping his jaws with some customers. The girl who waited on us was nice enough but had no idea what she was doing. TV was showing infomercials the whole time we were there. Egg sandwiches were just OK. Outside seating consisted of two chairs.

I had written a negative review in the past and now I here to give a status report. I’ve noticed an improvement in service and I appreciate their efforts. There food is second to none in this area and I would certainly recommend stopping by. 4÷1÷16 update. They seem to randomly close and always run out of bagels way too early.

The owners of this little Bagel shop have 0 customer service. You never get greeted with a smile or a good morning. Instead you walk in and see an unkempt, not friendly individual working behind the counter. I’ve been there numerous times and am treated like a complete stranger whose business is not valued. The actual facility itself is quite dirty and lacks any décor. I spend the extra time to make my own breakfast sandwiches now because I do not want to give them my business.

Bad service!!! Went in this morning, grabbed a dozen bagels. I asked the cranky lady at the counter for them sliced. She could of said no instead she miserably went to back for a few minutes I assumed she was slices the bagels. She came back handed me my closed bags. Got home not sliced. Really!!! Just say you don’t want to do it pretty rude to «fake help» a customer. I just don’t understand why people choose to work with the public if they are not nice and don’t like it!!!

This is the best bagel place around! My boyfriend and I stop in every so often and we would never go to another bagel place. The food is delicious and fresh, and we love that spunky chick behind the counter, she’s actually really nice!

Will never go to another bagel place. Best veggie bagels. Went in yesterday towards closing time out of veggie bagels :-(. I was told three will be more tmmr. Do you want me to save them for you. The owner took my order what time I would be in by and a phone number. I showed up today.. he remembered me and they on the back counter bagged with my name. My bagels. Yum!!!

Surly woman behind the counter didn’t even look up when I approached, just snarled«Whatcha want?» Ignored my request for«crispy» bacon and put it in a pile on griddle. Half cooked, half not. Walked to the register and rang me up and glared at me again. I assumed she wanted me to pay. No please or thank you. Handed me my bagel, again without saying anything. I picked up a couple of Dum Dum lollipops from a small wicker basket next to the register to see what flavors they were. I planned on taking one for my nephew. The woman barked at me «ring the bell!!» I had no idea what she meant because she was standing in front of me and I didn’t need to summon her. Then she barked«Ring the bell twice!!! They ain’t free!!» I was totally confused so I put the lollipops back and turned to leave. She yelled after me «Those are the rules!!» So…even though it’s the closest bagel shop to my house, I won’t be back. These people don’t deserve my business. In fact, they’re nuts!

The orders take forever. Like how long can it really take to toast a bagel and throw some cream cheese on it? They deliver which is their only saving grace but even that takes an hour. Just go to Wawa.

The food was ok, and this place is a straight shot down the road for me. However the terrible service is enough for me sacrifice convenience and just drive somewhere else. The one thing that stands out about the staff is their lack of attention to details. On two separate occasions they managed to screw up one of the sandwiches due to the simple fact that they do not pay attention to what you tell them. In addition to the«I don’t give a hoot» attitude, makes this place a customer service nightmare. On our initial visit, there were two young ladies behind the counter. One was working the grill and the other was putting everything together. I ordered a turkey, egg, and cheese on a toasted egg bagel. I did ask if it was ok first, because most establishments look at you with two heads if you ask for turkey on a breakfast sandwich. As the young lady is putting the sandwiches together, she is reading from the slips in front of her and I swear she was reading one line item at a time because she was getting one thing at time, per sandwich. Now you would believe that this slow method of doing things allows you to pay attention to the details; wrong. When she finally gets to my slip a few minutes later she turns to me ask if I wanted my turkey cold or warm. Okay, I am used to having it prepared a certain way; cook the egg, heat up the turkey, place turkey on egg mid-cook, add cheese near the end and boom! I understand everyone is not used to that, but maybe this question should have been asked while the egg was on the grill and not sitting to the side. She warms up the turkey, because the grill person is now sitting in the corner with friends, and places it on the sandwich. After 20 minutes in an empty store, my wife and I have our sandwiches. Our recent visit on Sunday 7⁄20 has pushed us even further away from this place. I ordered the same sandwich. The bagel not toasted. What are you going to do? My wife ordered Lox on a toasted sesame seed bagel, with tomato, salt & pepper, and no cream-cheese. When she opens it up, it is completely the opposite of what she asked for. The Bagel is not toasted, there are no tomatoes, and the sandwich is full of cream cheese. She takes it back to the store only to be greeted with an attitude. The young lady tells my wife«you ordered the Nova, it automatically comes with cream cheese.» I would understand if the sandwiches were pre-made, but all you have to do is skip the cream-cheese part. On the first attempt to get it right the girl places tomatoes on the existing sandwich. My wife says to her«that is not what I ordered. She then asked my wife«well what did you order? Now it confirms that she was not paying attention on the phone, and she was not listening then. Ok, let’s try this again. My wife reiterates her order. The young girl cuts open another sesame bagel. She does not toast it and proceeds to pull everything my wife wanted, now covered in cream-cheese, off the old sandwich and places it on the new bagel. As she is handing the sandwich to my wife, she says«I just want you to be happy.» My wife replies with«I guess that is not going to happen here.» I think someone should inform this young lady that you should not be snarky if you are unable to comprehend simple instructions. The wife and I happened to come across this place one Saturday day as were running errands in Medford, and to the trash dump in Marlton. Being that there are not many places to find good bagels in SJ, and no longer a hop, skip, and a jump away from Short Hills Deli, there was no harm in seeing what Free World Bagels had to offer. I guess our search continues

Here from Fl. for a visit and found this shop on Unilocal.Great bagels, the kind we can’t find in Fl. My daughter who lives near here loved them. We will return! Try the cinnamon raisin. Lots of spreads too.

It is clean and looks relatively new(there’s my compliment). Their bagels are average, not bad but not great. What ruins it for me is their toaster… it doesn’t work. I’ve been here at least a dozen times and never had a properly toasted bagel. I went back once and asked if they forgot to toast it but they told me it was already – Their toasted bagels taste like raw bagels. The owner is odd, quiet and tends to be rude. The staff seems overwhelmed, even when the place is empty. Sometimes a bagel with cream cheese can take over 5 minutes for them to make with no one else in the place. No one there seems happy. At first I was surprised that they actually fry their eggs for bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches(many places microwave their eggs which is unacceptable for me); however, I found a couple of other issues with their breakfast sandwich. The bacon looks like its hours old, even at 7AM an hour after they open? It is always cold, hard and overcooked. And the worst party of it all is the cheese, the cheese man! They don’t put the cheese on the egg(«it puts the cheese on the egg» yes I’m going a little crazy with this review) so that it melts properly… no no, that would be too easy. Instead they fry the egg, throw it on an untoasted bagel along with some cold, overcooked bacon and top it off with a slice of cheese. The cheese doesn’t melt because the bagel isn’t toasted and it wasn’t placed on the egg while still frying… this is bacon, egg and cheese 101 and they failed!

Great bagels but service and cleanliness was not great. The owner is not very friendly. The last time I was there I watched the girl who works the grill go outside to smoke a cigarette and go right back to work without washing her hands! That was the last time I’ll go there.
