I was surprised how rude the owner was. This is ice cream and was treated poorly by this woman. I really don’t like to review in a negative fashion but its sad truth that the owner is not a happy person. The ice cream was good but nothing special and I have had better at the local Ritas. Try this place and see for yourself the experience.

Happy National Ice Cream Day(yesterday)! I found myself in Southern Jersey and desperately craving ice cream. I read reviews for multiple places and Daddy O’s seemed liked it would help squash the craving. The store had a real home-town feel, located at the end of a small strip-mall. There were a few benches outside with about six or so tables in the back of the store. There were two sections: hard ice cream /soft serve & fro-yo. I went with the ice cream. There were about 12 – 16 options of hard ice cream and the usual players when it came to the soft serve. They did however have orange creamsicle as well as one or two more soft serve flavors. I ordered a regular sized Cookie Monster, Reese’s Pieces, and kid’s vanilla. The cups were on the smaller side but were packed full with at least 3 scoops. The ice cream itself was good. No complaints there. They were flavorful and full of cookies and other goodies. Total price was $ 13.50. They did have a product called water ice? I didn’t try it or ask what it was. But it seems pretty popular down here so I will definitely try some out. We’re in the middle of a heatwave so cold things are key. I don’t know if I’d come back, considering there are so many options, but it would be on my list of recommendations.

Probably the best ice cream I have had. It was very creamy and flavorful. I see the comments stating it’s expensive but I think for the amount I received for a double cone it was pretty reasonable– $ 4.50 plus tax. Also they have tons of flavors so you can’t be disappointed.

A large section of flavors and server was very friendly and patient while I tried to decide what I wanted. I tried their chocolate chocolate chip and vanilla toffee ice cream. Very expensive, ice cream was good, but not amazing. They also have yogurt. I liked the benches in front a lot. It was nice sitting there, eating ice cream.

I tried this ice cream shop for the first time today and I was super impressed. First of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Secondly, they had a ton of ice cream favors and topping choices. My fiancé and I decided to share a banana split since we couldn’t remember the last time we had one. We picked vanilla brownie, chocolate Oreo, and strawberry as our three different scoops and each flavor was equally delicious! We also noticed that they have frozen yogurt and although we didn’t try it this time, we will definitely be back to try some of their yummy favors. I’m personally excited about trying the banana flavored frozen yogurt. :) If you’re in the area I would highly suggest trying some of their awesome homemade ice cream flavors. You won’t be disappointed!

I am a plain — Jane vanilla type of guy, but when walking into Daddy O’s Dairy Barn one can’t help but take some time to read the board, to see what delicious homemade ice-cream is being served after you glance into the freezer display. The one thing I like about this place is that they know just how to top your ice-cream without relying on a pictures and charts. Growing up in NYC, I was used to ordering cones and sundae from Carvel’s. The smell, the service, and sweet taste of sprinkles, hot-fudge, and whipped cream, remind me of those times; something I haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing for such a long time.

First time I’ve been here and I will definitely be back in the future with my kids. They have tons of water ice and hard ice cream selections to choose from. I opted for a crushed cherry sundae(lovvvveeeee since a lot of places don’t have crushed cherries)!!! They give you a very generous amount of toppings and ice cream! The ice cream was nice and creamy.

Good ice cream, a lot of toppings. They have a yogurt section where you pick your own and you do your own toppings. Limited seating, prices are a little high

So good! So many different home made flavors to choose from and they don’t mind if you sample each one! The woman who helped us was so nice and answered all of our questions about the different flavors. We all got the hard ice cream in different flavors but the water ice was also perfect. So smooth and creamy! My only recommendation is making an option to get 1 scoop of ice cream. The smallest was too scoops and it would be nice to have the possibility of just getting 1! Definitely will be back again! And it is opened all year round so that’s a major plus!

The ice cream here is all homemade. They have every topping imaginable. The portion of my sundae was huge and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable. Excellent place to take the kids.

I recently returned to Daddy O’s Dairy Barn, and while I can say the flavors are good, the prices are so high! They are just as expensive as Cold Stone Creamery. I have had a few mess-ups in my order, and the sizes don’t match up to the prices they charge. They are open all year round, but I’d rather drive to Maple Shade Custard stand for better food and prices.

I wasn’t really of a fan of this ice cream place. I’ve had far better ice cream for a much cheaper price. There was also one girl working and a line. On a beautiful weekend day I would expect more workers. I most likely won’t return.

Good overpriced ice cream. Has everything to offer and is home of the eighty cent cherry! Yes — if your kid wants a single cherry on their ice cream… That’ll cost you! Kids cup with cherry and tax $ 4.81…

Saw this place as my fiancé and I were driving by. We decided to stop in… who can pass up trying homemade ice cream? Daddy-O’s is half an ice cream parlor and half one of those trendy make-your-own-frozen-yogurt-sundae-and-pay-by-the-ounce places. They have a decently sized seating area with a TV. They had a bunch of really tasty sounding ice cream. I decided to try the Vanilla Peanut Butter. It was really good. Lots of vanilla flavor and tons of peanut butter. The texture was the best part. It was super creamy. My fiancé tried a few flavors of the yogurt and made himself a yogurt sundae. The toppings were plentiful and very organized, nothing was a mess. I tried his chocolate yogurt. It was not my favorite. I’m not sure why but I’ve enjoyed other frozen yogurts more. The yogurt is .49 an ounce. I’m not sure how much my regular sized ice cream was but both together were $ 9.99. It’s not cheap but definitely worth it when you’re in the mood for a treat. This place is very clean and the staff all seemed very nice and helpful. One staff member I felt was a little impatient with a group of little kids. All in all a great place. I will be back!

Ice cream is homemade, super creamy, and yum. There are tons of flavors that change often so be sure to sample as many as you like with all their unique combos. Plenty items to choose from from homemade water ice, sugar free ice cream, soft serve, etc. Also, has a frozen yogurt bar on the side by the inside seating, and has a nice flat screen with tv shows on for kids. Seems very family friendly. I have to note that Happy birthday cake ice cream is amazing… it is confetti cake icing in an ice cream form! It’s a must try. Disappointing to see bad reviews about the service. I haven’t had a problem thus far. Like them on Facebook for updates on flavors and any small deals! Remember cash only!

This is a review for their funfetti and chocolate hard-serve ice-cream. DELICIOUS! It was so creamy and wonderful and not too expensive. The inside place is colorful and staffed with a younger crowd that’ll be happy to offer a flavor sampling.

ITs just ok, the workers need more enthusiam. Coming from Hawaii, where everyone smiles and greets you, I did not feel welcomed at all. My brother who lives in the area said they had good ice cream. I got the Maine blueberry, and that was really good! They do have an array of flavors which is great. But customer service is KEY in my book. Check it out!

Taste = good. Price = on the expensive side and portions are skimpy. Service = irritated and impatient staff(One customer: «Can I get a sample taste?» Staff: «Only if there isn’t anyone waiting.») There wasn’t anyone waiting — so why say it? Does it take THAT long to serve up a sample taste? Don’t bring a coupon because you may be greeted with an exasperated sigh from the staff. Maybe the ice cream at Daddy O’s tastes better than the kind you buy at the supermarket… but the self-checkout register at Shop-Rite doesn’t give you any attitude when you bring your business there.
