The food is below average, but not favorable. Shrimp are not deveined – YUCK! The waitstaff are extremely territorial, rude and can be shifty. It is like they deliberately have an attitude and expect customers to get out of their way when the customer has food in their hands walking. I know blind people who are more aware of their surroundings! To put salt in the wound they always ask you if you want change when paying. They think customers are stupid to fall for this old trick. Waitstaff should always bring change to the table-.period. It is up to the customer whether they should leave a tip. Waitstaff is young. All have«the attitude» and only offer minimal service. None ever smile. Perhaps they should apply elsewhere since they appear to all be Hollywood actors awaiting their next big break. Bottom line, the waitstaff ruins the dining experience, not the food. Management wake up!!! gave them benefit of doubt from last visit. But same experience few times I have visited them. Will eat elsewhere in future

If you are looking for the best service and a great quality of food or fresh like it just comes out from the kitchen like all other restaurants, well you won’t find it here. But if you are looking for a fine food for less than $ 20 you will like this place, there here are varieties of food. It can get really crowded on the weekend after 6 pm because of that I love coming on a weekdays around 6 pm it’s less crowded and also cheaper than the weekend. The foods are all taste really good and fresh for a buffet quality. I cut one star out because of the ice cream station needs some clean up more often. My daughter loves the ice cream corner. Over all very good food for the price.

Food quality was bad. Not fresh at all. This place is definitely not a good choice. They really need to improve the food and service.

Cheap, above average fare. Nice fish tank on the way in!

They replenish their crab legs on a frequent basis. Also they have a wide selection of food. The crawfish is good. I also like their cakes that they have for dessert, among other things. This buffet is my favorite one.

Although the place is clean and the service is great, the food offered at the buffet falls flat of good. Between all the many choices, most either taste the same with no flavor to separate them apart. Some food choices were mis marked and what was labeled as seafood was in fact pork. It was very easy to taste and identify what was fresh and was frozen processed food. That of which was offered on the cold tables were hard to see the difference of what’s what. The fresh fruit was in ripe and deserts dry and tasteless. The week day lunch buffet price was fantastic, but not worth it if you want food with distinct flavor profiles. Sometimes a well priced deal, is not really a good deal.

Don’t waste your time. I don’t even know where to begin my odyssey of disgust. Was it the shady looking exterior? Was it the permeating stench of steamy seafood? Oh yes, now I remember, it was the cold substance somehow resembling food. It continued with high prices and ended with rocks in the shape of cookies.

i was craving some cheap Chinese buffet, so I figured I would give this place a shot. I had been here 5 – 6 years ago and thought it was pretty decent. but either my taste buds matured or they have gone slightly downhill. they do have a lot of options, but everything tastes just all right, nothing stands out. but its only about 8 bucks for lunch, so you can’t really complain. I would come back if I was in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

I had the luncheon buffet. Surprisingly good for a buffet, let alone one this large. Their hot and sour soup, which most buffets ruin, was actually pretty good. A good variety of appetizers which were average to slightly above average depending on what you picked. Most of the main dishes were not as good as I’d expect from a standalone meal, but again for a buffet there were some good choices. I didn’t have the sushi, but one person with me said it had too much rice and one said it was really good. A huge dessert table, including 8 to 10 different ice creams, but all standard American flavors. Price was very reasonable for the size and the quality. This is my new favorite luncheon buffet.

I seek out good Chinese food, and sadly Buffets are normally not good. However this gem is the rare exception. One of the best good selections I have ever come across locally first of all. The dishes are constantly checked and restocked. Everything that was supposed to be hot was so. Then you have the food itself. Obviously they have Chefs that know what they are doing, but they care also. Every item I tried was seasoned correctly and tasted of the main ingredient. No over use of salt, and happily lacking in that uncooked corn flour flavor which makes food bland. The tables were clean, and so too the carpets, and the staff were attentive. As buffets go, this place is a cut above

I’ve been here before… first time, it was awful. My son liked it and he wanted to go back. We went back today… at 3pm. Its now 8:30 and I’ve had an upset stomach an hour after we left… and I’ve been sick all night(if you know what I mean)!!! never again!!!

I’ve been to many Chinese buffets and like them in general. Marlborough Super Buffet is a cut above average because of the larger-than-average variety of choices, better-than-average quality food, and the premises are in good physical condition(clean and not beat-up). It’s that simple. Price is good, but like nearly all such places, jacks it way up on Sundays(meaning«dinner» price all day).

Never never ever again! Went last week way before closing. The staff was busy putting the food away. Mind you, it wasn’t even near closing time. What little offerings that were left were stale, overly salty, and just plain bad tasting. I went to the front and complained(for around $ 15 per person you bet I’m saying something). I was given a poor excuse, «It’s not busy tonight». Tried to get at least a small discount as a show of good faith and good customer service and no such luck. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

It’s a buffet and exactly what you would expect. The variety is good and the food isn’t half bad. They have sushi, fruit, salad, typical Chinese fare, and some kid friendly favorites like french fries and pizza. The service is good and the staff friendly. Since it’s strictly a buffet, this isn’t all that important. It’s clean which is a plus. The staff seem to be very on top of wiping tables down and making sure the floor isn’t covered in dropped food. Avoid going on Sunday afternoons though, it’s nothing but rude and loud families making a mess everywhere. Too many unsupervised kids with their hands in the food. Not the restaurants fault of course and has no bearing on the rating.

This place is outstanding. They have a huge buffet, everything is absolutely delicious, and the staff is very polite. The fried shrimp and the pepper chicken were my two favorites. Forget Imperial buffet or Joy Asia, this place blows them away!

A solid 3.5 stars! This place had a biig selection of food including a lot of seafood. I tried about half their items but the more memorable dishes were following: Broccoli chicken, fried chicken wings, seafood soup, hot n sour soup, string beans, walnut prawns, egg roll, and pot stickers. For the price it’s a great deal. I would go back the next time I’m in the area…

I want to like you. I really do. I want to enjoy your assortment of sushi rolls filled with a mysterious array of ingredients that you refuse to label. I want to enjoy your crab rangoons that although taste OK seem like they were made 6 days ago and then reheated. I event want to enjoy the pizza that you made to satisfy americans… wait, no I really don’t want to enjoy that. Here’s the deal with Marlborough super buffet. There’s a particular check list you need before you decide if you should enter their doors and dine. 1. Are you REALLY hungry? 2. Is it a weekday?(If it’s a weekend, only go if your going to eat like two and a half plates. Price goes up, but the taste stays the same) 3. Do you like seafood? 4. Are you REALLY hungry? If you said yes to all four of those options then go in. While the spread of food is in no way gourmet or anything to scream about, it’s decent. The sushi is ok for a buffet that has other priorities, but they don’t label it. Part of the fun I guess. They have tons of versions of shrimp and seafood so if you want Salmon, crab legs, or shrimp swimming in sauces or fried to a T this is the place to be. Their chicken options are pretty good, sweet and sour chicken, bourbon chicken, broccoli and chicken are all the same quality you would expect from a cheap Chinese take out place. Their«hibachi» options are really just tons of overcooked kabobs of meat. Avoid those. The soups are flavorless but the shumai’s are pretty good but definitely not the best anywhere. The service is kurt but nice, and the seating is pretty clean. So basically, if you’re really hungry and ok with mediocrity than buffet away.

As buffets go this place is good if you come during really busy times and not so great if you end up here during an off peak time. During busy times the crowds of people hoarding all the food like they never ate before wipe out a lot of the base items quickly(lo mien, rice, etc)… and they never seem to be prepared for this and take a while to put in more food. The upside to when these hoarding people are there is that the food is always fresh and hot. I never understood why people attack the food at buffets… hello its a buffet the food isn’t going anywhere! The items are all decent… nothing is blow your mind good. A lot of the items are very salty though… almost too salty. The meat skewers to the back side of the buffet are always tasty but seem to sit there longer than most other items. The sushi is OK… I wouldn’t it expect it to be any better here than what it is… The dessert/fruit section is pretty good except all of the desserts usually taste freezer burnt. We came here once after a baptism for a mini party which my friend had called in advance to reserve for. They had promised a specific table area in the separate room to the back… they did not have it when we got there. The waitstaff and manager were extremely rude to my friend and were upset that she wanted to rearrange tables so our whole party could sit together — seriously?!

The Super Buffet is on the Sudbury side of Marlborough near the Target and Home Depot. It is nestled in a strip mall, but a sign on Rt. 20 lures you in. The location looks small from the outside, but stretches back pretty far. All the food is Americanized. It is quite good, and you see a good amount of turnover on the food. It stays hot, which is always a plus, and they have a great selection. I tend to stay away from buffets, mostly due to my waist line, but this was pretty good. I would say it is better than most, and sadly much better than the regular Chinese restaurants in the area.

The food is decent – quite honestly some of the best ABC(Americanized Buffet Chinese) food I’ve ever had. There’s a big selection of protein, veggies, and even a ton of «other» food, like sushi, chicken/beef/shrimp skewers, and even pizza. Even the waitstaff was more competent here than at other Chinese buffets I’ve been to – quick refills, clean up, etc. All in all, a solid 3.5, easily. So why the 4 stars vs. 3, you may ask? Because it is here that I witnessed the most adorable love scene in the world. At the table next to our booth, I saw the tiniest, most hunched over grandpa pull out the chair for his honey, set her cane on the table next to her, and help her into her seat. Then he kissed her hand, wobbled on over to his seat right across from her, and proceeded to cut her dessert and feed her. Oh. Em. Gee. Melt. I think the food(and price – 8.99 for Saturday brunch!) and the atmosphere are both enough to get me to come back again. Definitely a must if you’re in the area.
